Should I let Google find it, or help her along?

I just changed my site from an old earthlink account to a "new" url. (Actually, the URL was set up to point to the e-link account before, but is now on its own hosting account).

So, the old e-link pages fluctuated between a high PR4 low PR5. Since making the change over I have permanently redirected the pages on the e-link account.

The new site is a PR3, mainly due to pre-existing links that ponted to it. (Yeah, yeah, all this took place long before I new anythig about SEO.)

So, my question is, do I now just sit back and be patient, or should I take some action? I have considered submitting both URLs to Google to "tempt the spider".

Advice?

At this stage I would be patient and wait and see and meanwhile look for some extra fresh site external inbound links.
