Google using some form of JS trickery on the search box.

Any ideas why?

Just noticed something wierd when searching on google.

Carry out a search and when the results page appears alter your search term before the rest of the page has rendered fully. As if by magic yor search term will be reverted to the origional query.

Any idea why google would be doing this?

This has been happening for a long while now - I assumed it was because I was entering data before the page was fully loaded and therefore it was just a feature ( bug :) ) of the browser.

Dont think there is any Javascript involved.
