Questions about changing host

Does anybody have knowledge of how often Google updates their DNS server nowadays? I recently moved my site to a new host. Altavista and inktomi have already found my new location, but googlebot is still visiting my old host. With all the recent changes at Google, I am concerned that I made this move at the wrong time, but I had no choice.

I am following the advice I read in older threads and keeping up the site at both locations, but I only have 30 more days with the old host. Should I worry?

Also, once I see googlebot at the new location, is it safe to take down the old site or should I still wait a few days?

If you leave it at your old host for another 30 days, I would,nt worry if I were you.

Once you see googlebot or freshbot in your logs, you know it has found your new "hiding place"...

Just a reminder to read the new charter:

And hopefully 30 days should be just enough, i would see if i could pay for another month though.
