Google is sloooow

Queries on average taking 4 seconds

Anyone else experiencing increased latency with Google...the status bar on my queries says that search time is taking an average of 4 seconds.

No - averaging 0.09 for me :)

I think it was the query I was doing...other searches are normal time.

My query was "[edit]".

I think because a stop word (is) was in the query it hosed Google's lookup strategy.
