Why so

When it type www.mysite.com or just mysite.com completely different site (title, address, dmoz listing etc..) appear in Google. Also, when I type link:mysite.com, links I actually see are the links to that "fake" address, which is completely urelated to my site. I have waited all this crazy period, but it seems nothing is going to change.

Is there any answer regarding this?

Strange?

Is this a new domain or a second hand domain? and how long have you had it registered and your site live?

What does the cache of the site show?

and this crazy :) period is not over yet - hopefully when more backlinks and recent crawl data is added it will correct itself.

It's not new nor second hand it's three years old domain being online all the time except some days between switching hosts in March. Maybe that's the problem?

I hope this will solve because I think I have lost my PR (by one) just because of this...

I think a lot of sites were reduced in PR lately - one of mine has dropped from 6 to 5. I wouldnt worry about that.

HI

I tried the tests you said, and Google appears to deliver the correct results (assuming the site in your email address)

It sounds like your hosting company has messed up DNS somehow.

This recently happened to me as well. It turns out my web host was able to fix it and the impression I got was that he was the only one who could fix it. Google can't help you with this.

Write or call your host.
