Hello,

My first post. My site is only 2 months old but finally just got indexed by Google as I'm now showing up on specific keywords anywhere from number 10 to 100+. But with all the keyword searches, I've noticed that only my home page shows listed.

Why not my product sections or specific item pages which I have optimized thinking they would rank better than the home page for specific keywords? Am I doing somthing wrong?

Thanks,

Scott

Your pages hasn't been around long enough for a deep crawl. Look at your web logs and see what googlebot has been up to.

Google needs to spider your entire site before you will see it. Once the site has been spidered completely, you need to wait until the next update.

Have patience. This is a slow game we play.

Welcome to webmasterworld.
As you note, your site is a couple of months old. Due to some recent changes in how google is building its index (Code named Dominic by folks here) many believe that the bulk of the current google index pre-dates your site.

Friendly tip: to quickly catch up, look for the Dominic Update summary threads. That's a lot easier to peruse than reading Dominic Parts 1-whatever on your own.

Waiting isn't always fun, but if google has found you, it will likely find your other pages too.
