Why does only my Homepage show Description & category?

Should I be submitting all my pages to google?

I notice that Google seems to list meta description and category for my homepage only.

I have an entire interlinked website, with different topics and search terms for each page. These other pages are indexed, but they do not get the 'full works' with meta description and category. Should I be submitting each of my pages, or is it just information from my single entry in demoz or something?

Google tends to show the DMOZ description & categrory if the page is listed there:

[webmasterworld.com...]

It does seem that is what is happening, yet I feel some content on my internal pages is just as or more important than what is on my home page. Although, my homepage is designed to give visitors the best possible entry to the site, guiding them towards the product/service that will best suit their requirements.
