What could it mean if all my sites have disappeared from Google if you type the URL in the search box BUT they appear in the directory if you just type the keyword of the domain and search through the results a bit?

Is this a byproduct of a recrawl?

Who can you usually talk to regarding getting your sites back into google?

Anyone care to help a damsel in distress?

I've been reading through all the posting that I can about this update, but rather than helping I (as a newbie) am getting more confused than ever!

I added a new site to Google in April, and also in April got a listing in the Yahoo Directory. I'm waiting in a queue for Dmoz listing. I only have a couple of PR 5 links
as my site is in a very specialised area and mainly other sites are the competition!

Anyway, the site showed up with a PR0 - to be expected of a new site. We were getting Freshbotted and doing really well.

Since last Saturday we have vanished completely off Google. Can anyone tell me if having Duplicate page titles and keywords might cause this kind of problem?

Any advice would be really appreciated. I know everyone must be really sick of answering these posts!

Dont worry the same has happened to me and many many others this month. No one seems to know why this has happened. Just hold tight and prey that when its all over we'll all be back.

Hi

No need to worry... yet! All our new sites are not appearing because Google is using old data at the moment. However, I have seen glimpses of new sites in the system so yours is probably there as well.

Thats interesting, so your saying they are dependent on data over a year old?

if thats so I wonder why?
