I knew of www2 and www3 for google. But you leave
the google thread for a month and you are lost.

People are talking about -sj -fi and 12 datacenters, amonst a few. I don't have time to catch up on
the few thousand google posts this past month.

Would somebody list the new google data center
URL's. This should also be listed in the FAQ.

Maybe the webmasterworld FAQ could be updated, maybe thats what you mean,

but just to qualify, Google's own FAQ wouldn't be updated, as Google never published the URIs of its datacenters, they were just guessed or worked out by some SEO geeks who told us what they found out.

P.S.

URL's is bad grammar and incorrect anyway, what you mean is "URIs"!

I found this by searching for "google dance":

Domain IP Address
www-ex.google.com 216.239.33.100
www-sj.google.com 216.239.35.100
www-va.google.com 216.239.37.100
www-dc.google.com 216.239.39.100
www-ab.google.com 216.239.51.100
www-in.google.com 216.239.53.100
www-zu.google.com 216.239.55.100
www-cw.google.com 216.239.57.100
www-fi.google.com 216.239.41.100

I guess www-zu is actually offline, though, and redirects your search to one of the other datacenters.

I switched my site over to a content management system at the begining of Febuary and every single one of my URL's was changed. I just went through all the Google sites above and almost all of them have a different number of links when I type in site:domain.com -asdf. There are no links whatsoever that have to do with my new site structure. Last week on www.google.com there were 4 links to my new site. Of course there are links to the domain.com. The number next to the link is the number of links I have.

www-ex.google.com 30
www-sj.google.com 34
www-va.google.com 48
www-dc.google.com 51
www-ab.google.com 51
www-in.google.com 1
www-zu.google.com 51
www-cw.google.com 40
www-fi.google.com 45
www.google.com 30

Yes its the google FAQ on webmasterworld.

Yes URIs is the proper term.

Yes I can't spell because I expect Front Page to correct all my spelling missteaks for me :)

Thanks for the information
