Pardon me if this has allready been answered, but from the main page, there are links to about 30 sections. 4 of them display a pr0 for the index page of the section and for all sub pages.

I've never noticed anything like this before. It's always been that Google "guessed" pr of sub pages. Since the whole site isn't under any kind of penalty, I guess I'm paranoid that the sections are being penalized individually, though we aren't doing anything sneaky (well, not TOO sneaky) and if a penalty is there, then I'm surprised and worried about all my other sections, which follow the same format.

Thanks

Hi Rumble,

I noticed the exact thing on one of my sites today.
Maybe they have some "problems" with that right now because I see some strange thigs...

One site that is greyed first gets the correct pr when I go to another page and back again. Really strange!

This whole thing might be connected to that the -sj data is online at www now (for me atleast).?!

Any one got any better answers?

PR has always fluctuated during updates, we all know this. I think people are stressing on this far too much.

We can't do a thing about it, so we may as well just wait and see. Granted, on this update it is unusual simply because google have changed the way the game is played and messed with our heads a little.

Theres no doubt a perfectly sensible reason for all this that will become more apparent as things settle down.

It's probably just a toolbar glitch. I've occasionally seen PR0 on a few of my pages (typically new pages that have been crawled only by the "freshbot"), but that hasn't kept the pages from scoring high in Google. In fact, I've got a news page that's in the top 3 Google results for its major keyphrase right now, but it shows PR0 in the toolbar.

Of course, if you've been doing anything sneaky, all bets are off. :-)
