to hide or not to hide

I have some german content on a .co.uk site aimed at Germany.

I will buy a german domain name (.de) and I have been offered a dns redirect straight to the german pages of the .co.uk site or a cloak which would hide the real url of all the pages as german users move around the pages...

Which one is best?

I would set up a seperate hosting for .de Domain for safety and ease.
