Link added to update more current than Deepcrawl?

When GG mentioned links are 'being added over time' I took that to mean the links that the last Deepcrawl picked up would be applied over time.

Now I am wondering if the links added over time could include links obtained *after* the last deepcrawl?

Has anyone seen any PR3+ links added that were picked up a good bit after the deepcrawl?

TIA

Yes, I see some backlinks added which were only generated in the last 2 weeks!

Whether this is evidence of:

1. A continuous update process
2. PR will somehow be recalculated dynamically with each new backlink found (that would be fun)
3. This is just a temporary solution to getting so many missing backlinks back in the index equation
4. The links are coming from freshbot crawls and not the last deepcrawl

is anybodies guess....well maybe GoogleGuy doesn't have to guess, but I'll bet he won't tell us!
