When you type our domain in www.domainname.com Google kicks back "Sorry, no information is available for the URL www.domainname.com" But when I type in allinurl:www.domainname.com it kicks back a ton of pages (including our home page). Have I been dropped or what is the difference here?

Its important to remember that times a strange and the serps are shifting a wee bit at present with G.

Also - from thread: [webmasterworld.com...]

If you are missing (i.e. the Toolbar PageRank graph is grey, you don't come up in the searches at all and a search for your domain comes up with "sorry, no information is available for the url ...") then it's most likely not a penalty. One thing to check is whether a search for your domain includes the text "If the url is valid, try visiting that web page by clicking on the following link". If it does, then it's not likely to be a penalty.
- i think you can rule out a ban.

I cant answer your question directly, simply because i dont know the answer. but heres a few threads that may help.
