When you search on google say:

www.widget.com

and (www.widget.com) is already banned by google, can you see the site show up as the only result?

dididudu, the answer is no. You'll get no results. Showing one result would mean the site is indexed by Google therefore not banned.

no results if the site is banned.

Wow, thanks for all the clarifications guys! I really appreciate this. Cause for the last week I have been worrying my site being banned by sj and fi, but everytime when I search for

www.mysite.com

1 result shows up which is my site home page. It does not contain any description however, looks really weird... and seems non of my other pages are indexed at all... Anyway, thanks guys. :)

I had a site that was PR0ed and banned, and it showed similar characteristics. Wait for this update to complete and then check the SERPs and toolbar.
