I am fairly new at this, and when checking in allinurl for google, I am finding about 27 pages out of 47 do not show my page title or anything else for that matter, just the url. I do use the <title>, description, and keywords meta tags. Can anyone explain why this is happening?
Thanks in advance

MadHatter,

This is simply for pages that have been found by the bots but not crawled yet. It means that Google is aware of those pages and that they will be crawled later on.

Agree with hetzeld. Google found a link to the page, but didn't crawl it yet. If the page has a 'no-index' or the robots.txt prevent the bots to crawl it, the URL could stay there. The page could even get a PR depending on the inbound links.

Usually the title, snippet, cached etc will come with the next update or even earlier if freshbot visits the page.
