So assuming Google also parses the Html of a link, keywords here cant hurt. So instead of having a directory labelled images, how about one named after a keyword?
Also instead of a link like 'news.htm', how about one like 'news.htm#keyword'?
I guess you can, if you want, go to the trouble of adding the Keyword anchor at the recieveing page.
It's just an idea, any thoughts? Is it spamming?
I dont see how this would be of any use to you, I would not use it. However you could do something like this /cheetos_news.htm and it would be fine. Hey I have cheetos on my desk at the moment, so no guff needed.
As to the limitations of text you can use in your description I will give you a few pointers.
a. use keywords in the meta tags.
b. at the top of the site, make sure its actual text.
c. within the first paragraph.
Those have been working for years for me. If you want examples do a search and look at the description and the site and find out where the keywords in the description were taken from and apply it to your site. Have a good weekend.
