PR and .pdf

What happens to PR through .pdf and .wav pages? Since they don't link back, do they bleed PR out of the site, or what?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

You can link out of a .pdf and PR does flow through these links.

.wav files are not indexed so there should be no PR going to them, but I suppose there might be.
