Google dropped 30% of my pages

How can I get Freshbot to put them back in?

Bad things have happenned to my site on this update :(

A few of my pages seem to have disappeared from the SERPs, doing an "allinurl:mysite.com" shows no TITLE, no snippet and no cache for those pages.

It is clearly not a penalty, since the site is very lightly optimized. So it seems that my best approach is to coax Freshbot to visit those pages early, and visit them often.

I have immediately uploaded them again, at least the date modified will be new. Is that enough for Freshbot, or do I need to make more changes (file size, or substantial text changes)?

How frequently should I modify them to keep Freshbot coming?

Any other advice much appreciated!

I have seen pages from my sites that have a fresh tag in the serps that have not been modified for a month or more.

As far as I can tell there is no magic amount to do to your site in order for it to get a fresh tag.

I also found www-sj.google.com dropped about 80% pages from my site. Few days ago, I check inurl:mydomain.com and found about 110 pages were indexed by Google-sj, but today I only found 18 pages in sj index. Google-SJ is updating and changing now, I should monitor is for a long time! Does Someone else meet this kind of thing?

A similar thing has happened to me. One domain which had 23K+ pages indexed for the past three months is now showing 117 pages indexed with allinurl - I wonder if the domain has tripped a template filter or something. Several other domains that had 1000+ pages crawled last month are showing similar results.
