If a site sold widgets, and all google new about was 1-30 pages of widgets that the site had. Now if the dynamic pages 1000 of them got crawled, would the home page recieve better ranking for the major search term. "Widgets".

Or maybe like this:

Site A 30 pages of info on widgets

Site B 1030 pages on widgets

Whos main page would do better on the search term widgets?

Same optimizations ect... I would think Site B.......

I can have my dynamic turned into static, just wondering if its worth the effort.

Each page has to do well on its own merits, but in general the more pages you have indexed, the easier it is for visitors to find your site.
