Rankings after the deep crawl....

Does the deep crawl affect the SERPs

As the deep crawl is now taking place, I'd like to know your rankings in the SERPs change after a deep crawl? I think not, but there was a shift after last month's deep crawl....

I'm expecting this crawl to pick up on alot more backlinks etc so if I was in at #10 on a popular search term before the crawl, can it be bumped up higher if the deep crawl picks up on more optimised pages and backlins?

Changes in rankings caused by deep crawl ought to show at the next update in a couple of weeks. That's actually what the update is about! If you see changes in SERPs immediately after deep crawl I would suppose that they derive from freshbot.
