New site, came up I guess on a fresh google crawl, about when do they to like a main crawl on your site, because I have alot of links, and they havent got to those yet. Fresh crawl was about a week ago. And we have been everfluxing ect...

Any imput would be greatly appreciated, we have been on other engines for awhile, and none have picked up any links either, about 2 months on the others. They are href links.

Hi deanril,

If Google's freshbot has already found your site it should be added to the main index within one or two update cycles. The next update should be coming sometime soon (or not, see any of the recent "when will Google update" threads).

Google's deep crawler usually comes out soon after an update, crawls for a couple of weeks or so, then goes back home while the results are being crunched.

Most important point is that freshbot knows the site is there. Everything else will come in Google's own good time.

Thank you very much for your reply!

Im just concerned about My links, Ive gone past the Impatient part of the whole, new site deal.

Because my site is a dynamic site, i have made some 25 or so static pages, currently all search engines think I have 1 page of data, when infact I have 26 or so. All with different keywords ect ect....

I guess heres my problem, all this stuff takes time, no problem. But if i have a problem now, I would like to catch it now, so i can wait another month or 2 for it to get picked up ect...

Thank you in advance for any advice, or maybe someone can point me to some kindof spider mimicing page to see if the spider has a problem with my links or, just something to know my links are ok, and I just need to wait?

Hi deanril,

>>New site,

Ha!

For new sites, I never write any trafic report before 4 months. Things needs to stabilise before spending time on it.

Freshbot will not make a lot of difference unless you are PR 5 or higher. I have sites of varing PR and this is my experience. One PR3 site (hope it will be better soon) had many new pages added on February 7 (just missed the crawl) and they are still not indexed. Maybe in the next dance, but Google's neglect has been very frustrating for this site.

Thank you jdMorgan! that spider worked perfect, my links are great, that spider is a great tool. Very good info from that spider.

Macguru - thank you, Im a newby and have alot to learn I will remember your advice.

TheComte - thank you, yeah Pr... Im at 4 for now, i have atleast 2 links from Pr6, and a bunch of Pr5's , looks like Im ok, just impatient.

My impatients is money, because this is my business, Im not a SEO, This is my website, and so far its helped alot, but when the google faucet turns on, the phone rings off the hook, and sales are high, last time was 2 days, now we are on our 3rd day. But my Product has alot of key words, so on those 25 pages is insurance that I nail every keyword, and should, come up in the 1st/2nd page with ease. Because alot of them are not payed attention to by my competitors, and some have 80,000 typed in a month, and alot are 40,000 a month, and what comes up are sites that arent optimized, and that have these keywords in some body text, and thats it, my other 25 pages are fully optimized for these words.

Thank you all for your imput
