I have seen DMOZ descrition appearing. But Google Directory is not updated yet. I recall that someone says Google Directory update at the different time as Google Dance. But I really don't know much on it because when I join webmasterworld, I have never seen a Google Directory update.

Can someone explain to me?

The RDF has been used in the 'description' for results.. it is not just a case of it having spidered DMOZ - my site now includes the category in the google directory that my site should be in, however when one clicks on that category - it is the same directory (same on -sj and -ex also). The question Athlon is asking (and I'm wondering too!) is when the directory will be updated as they are clearly using the new RDF dump?

I can confirm that this is (still) true. Not only are sites been flagged as in the dir. when they are not there (but are in ODP) but this is also happening with categories. I created a category in ODP a while ago and a link to it is shown on the SERP even though it is not in the Google Dir. yet (i.e.: clicking the link in SERP results in 404). Is it normal for Google to update SERP pages to use the new RDF dump and then, later, update the actual dir? Does ne1 (GG?) know if this is normal and why it seems to have been half-updated for so long?

The new directory results are listed at

Hmm...I see Google is somewhat buggy. In the directory cat my site is listed in, I am #1 instead of the expected #2 with the default sort by PR because for some reason the site that I presume has higher PR than mine is shown as grey toolbar in the cat. This is not the case. That page is definitely PR6 in my toolbar.

Best guess-it's a PR5 by the time the update is over ;)

I am seeing my site listed in the normal directory now.. looks like the directory update has happened. Still think it's been more than a 'few' :)
