Anyone else seen this and why would this be when everything is relevant? BTW I don't use analytics or anything else to allow any tracking of conversions from their side, but I can tell you the kw's that got bumped up high were converting.
On the landing page there is the product, the picture, and the buy button that goes to the buy page of the merchant.
There is also a contact form and 2 adsense boxes on top and on bottom.
Then there are other 3 products from the same category to choose from.
Everything is designed simple and with taste, I don't dupe anybody, the prices are always right (I have a script).
My account had 700 groups with some 5000 keywords on a 1300$/month budget.
Only the best converting keywords are disabled. From 0.26-0.30 to 10$
What else should I do? Give them money for free?
I mean this is it. They build this system for this.
We did what they wanted.
You don't want me? Bye bye then... I don't feel guilty at all. I did what I had to do. It's not my fault.
Best regards, maybe my post helps somebody but I doubt it.

My head is all logic. It can't compile this ****
So... Quality score and Landing page crap.
I did all those 700 ads BY HAND.
My ads are getting mostly double digit CTRs and my pages have changed only minor amounts in the past six months.
My pages have a headline, three lines of intro copy, a few bullet points with product features, a call to action button, a relevant image, and links to my privacy and contact pages. I'll guess I'll have to see what Google wants and modify. Strange that they would be okay for six months and then suddnely be horrible in Google's eyes.
What I do know is that with enough input from other webmasters here and elsewhere we'll figure out what Google wants and make the appropriate changes. Please post your experiences.
i used adwords from 20001 i think to maybe 2004, i dont remember exactly, but i used to spend $200-$400/month on adwords and it was entirely consistent for 4 years where when people signed up for my service i knew exactly how they found me - then unexplainable in the span of one month...the cost doubled, then tripled etc etc i put the budget limit on the account but was finding my clicks were GONE within 2-4 hours (i'm in a local niche in nyc)
my conclusion was that my competitors were spamming my ads and i never got any satisfaction from google about it, i got bs lame answers so i was like ok then 'F-YOU' and pulled my advertising i started researching the google search and keyword stuff and it took me 6 months to get my site back in front of people on page one for my terms and i havent used adwords since.
(there is also one site thats at the number one search position and hasnt budged for YEARS and its driving me NUTs beacause they don't even DO what they propose to sell they just REFER ...it's maddening)
anyway, i think when someone comes into your niche with some cash they bid up the price of everything or spamclick you till you cave...at least that's what seemingly happened to me
I have several ads with little content on pages that I know aren't fit to par with their standards.
Last week I decided to revamp these pages. So far I have only got one page done. I invested a lot of time into this page with articles sitemap privacy policy etc.
It just so happens this is the only page (site) that wasn't hit yesterday.
The others now have a min bid of 10.00 where as the day before yesterday they were doing great.
Solution: make all other pages the same as the new page.
articles sitemap privacy policy, contact link etc.
Another thing I am doing just in case (because I know google is smart and hates affiliates) is hiding any generic affiliate product names and not mentioning them in my page. Instead if I have to mention the name of the products I will put this in an image.
I do have a few lines of text in image for this purpose.
Im also very careful not to use duplicate content on any of my pages and if I find it necessary to do so will use as image.
Since yesterday it looks like Ive got a lot more work to do (wipes brow).
Hope this helps.
They don't make much money off of affiliate marketers and they want to get rid of us.
Make new agroups ,change the url etc. Delete the old adgroups. Leave no trace for googles ot. Keep in mind they track the history of urls, adgroups, etc.
If all else fails call them up and get a rep on the phone to tell you *exactly* why it was given a poor quality score. Get their extension and only go through this rep so they will be familiar with your case.. If they aren't helpful get another rep.
Treat it like a forensic case. Leave no-zip-zero trace of affiliates.
You can get around them.
I would *really* like to get AdWordsAdvisor's take on what exactly this "minor" change entails, and also to respond to the charges made by several people since last July's "slap" (and today's) that Google is trying to squelch sites with affiliate links and thereby kick affiliates out of Google's PPC market in favor of direct merchants. Especially those that earn G even more money by using Google Checkout.
