Same here but over 10 sites with another 4 unchanged, and one dropped to almost zero!

CTR awful, number of visitors / page views unchanged really, price per click down loads across all sites... Yet again. 2 years ago I had 2 sites. Price paid per click was about 1 dollar. Now the average is about 10 cents... Just too many (bad?) sites displaying adsense.

Yes, I've been seeing this as well. Very bad start this month. I've actually been taking a loss in earnings since the 1st. This is getting ridiculous.

Our earnings are also down but relative to the site's traffic. Most visitors are from USA and the holidays have begun. Traffic and earnings will almost certainly go back to normal levels the day after Labor Day.

My site's EPC, CTR, and eCPM have all been very strong this month, and the July 4 holiday weekend in the U.S. doesn't seem to have hurt traffic or earnings so far. I credit that to "seasonal factors" (last-minute vacation planning by my readers) and the fact that my topic draws a large number of readers from outside the U.S.

My earnings are down a bit from June but about what I expected for the 4th of July Holiday weekend. I expect July to be about the same as June, especially with the 31st day.

Just be glad there are 31 days in July! That'll help offset the decline for the US holiday. Just bad timing this year because the 4th is on a Monday, so it's a long weekend. Almost like we're celebrating the 1st-4th this year. Hang in there!

I'm busy today improving the site to boost revenues when people get their butts home and back to clicking. Installing new banner ad servers [will tell you what I'm doing this for with AdSense if it works], more AdSense channels, fixing problems that resulted in 160K PSA's last month, fixing some misc. SEO and programming issues.

Arming myself to the teeth as there is no room for failure with this month's start, sheesh.

So while my competitors are all out playing this weekend, Mr Bill is gearing up for war :)

Reminder to self: FIND the time to further develop that site. A gold mine is hiding in there.

I expected my earnings to drop for the weekend but not by this much. Pay per click yesterday was about half of what it usually is, today it is about 2/3rds of being normal. So what that means is that my earnnings got hit twice as hard, less traffic and now less revenue generated per click.

Not going to worry until next week to see if the trend reverses.

Out of four people I know well using Adwords, three are having trouble getting any ads to show at all and one has only a small percentage of her usual clicks.

A small sample I know, but if fewer Adwords accounts are functioning propery, it would explain the drop in Adsense earnings - there aren't the ads there for anyone to click!

Of the Adsense accounts I get to see the stats for (two UK based, one US based), earnings are down around 80% on two of them and 90% on one since the beginning of the month.

None of us can get any acknowledgement from Google something might be wrong.

Activity on my site is in line with what I would expect on a holiday weekend in the US and Canada. Activity is down but not disastrously so.

The site always suffers on weekends and summers at any rate. I always experience a large bump upwards in September.

I have noticed, however, that the quality and depth of the ad inventory has suffered somewhat over the last 2 days. This probably explains why the CTR on the site is fairly weak today.

I expected earnings to drop on the 1st of July, since everyone would be watching the Live 8 concert. As predicted, they were down around 50%.

Would anyone be interested if I set up a site that showed a collation worlwide holidays for the major world countries. e.g. I'm in the UK and know about 4th July holiday in the USA, BUT I don't know when your other major hoidays are. Vice versa I guess most people in the USA don't know when all the bank holidays are, ditto France, Germany, Ireland, Aus etc.
This way if you saw a dip in adsense a date based summary of holidays would give you an indication of what was causing the dip.
If anyone else thinks this'd be a useful reference tool post away with your major holiday dates. I can have the site up and running by Saturday Evening (I'd do it sooner but alas 9-5 plus a 2hr commute each way means that by time spent coding durign the week is nominal. I have a spare adsense related site that I could put the info on.)
