Does not pick any speed and August is a disaster.

In Europe entire industries go on holidays for the entire month...

Same here, Mayank. Adsense revenue today is making me dizzy.

Suddenly I'm getting more traffic from the Philippines and I'm targeting North America primarily. No wonder the CPC is plummeting. My USA traffic normally decreases in the summer months, but not to this percentage.

USA Traffic
April = 52.82%
May = 46.94%
June = 31.08%
July = 24.57%

Lowest earning day since 2017! Today is extremely terrible. The drop started for me on Friday.

Earnings are 50% of last year same month. Asense seems to be dying year on year or there is real economic crash.

Exactly. One day on and few days off. Adsense is buggy since March-April culminating into a service disruption throughout May. Still not settled..

However, Adx looks consistent (though I have very little experience with them). Is that so?

@Azlinda - I’ve never had Media.Net come even close to outperforming Adsense. Even with the current state of affairs.

Check with your Media.net's account manager, it can make a whole difference. When I was using Media.net, it was really low, I wrote to my account manager, and after some mail exchanges, he adjusted things on their side with their "ad optimizing team", and all of a sudden my Media.net earnings x2 or x3, this resulted in display ads being added to the pool of advertisers, and also "said to be" premium basket of advertisers. So it can be worth the try to discuss with them, their default implementation might not be great.

Yesterday record day for the summer.
Today another abyss.

My theory:
To protect against a.m attacks, Adsense just stop serving for a couple of hours.
As said yesterday had a high 2 digit RPM

A strong decline in CPC this month. It's always been a struggle, I operate in low cpc markets and when it drops for long periods it is hard.

Yoyo indeed. Very high RPMs followed by hours of inactivity. Overall, July is very good.

Does anyone have the message about ads.txt persisting on their Adsense dashboard, even though an ads.txt exists on the site?

It has been there for maybe a month now, saying I could lose ad serving. I have checked my ads.txt file many times and it seems fine.
I've used several online ads.txt checker tools to confirm it can be crawled properly, and they're all fine.

So what's the deal?
