@MakankParmar
Oof... I don't meet the 5 million a month page views for AdX. But thanks for letting me know about it. Maybe one day :-)

Last time I used Exmarketplace and did they pretty well. AdPushup is also decent. Both don't have requirements of 5 million views. 200-300K monthly views is good enough :)

Another good ad network for header bidding is PubGalaxy. They're really good for some sites.

Today is the worst day in many years. I wonder if the 4th of July holiday in the States is playing a role. Additionally, I think another big recession is coming. This may be only the start.

I started some of my sites at the beginning of the Great Recession in 2008 and they did well. So it might not be all bad.

Some domains with inflated RPM .
Not normal

CPC and RPM are usually low in the first week of a new month, very low in the new quarter, also when there is a holiday, and also when there is Google glitch :)

Very low earnings, hopefully caused by frozen stats. Beginning of the month was good and 2nd day also, yesterday slightly worse but today suddenly -30% in CTR. For the record it's with about 40,000 pageviews each day...

Also tried to find improvements with Pagespeed Insights and the funniest is that about 7 out of 10 subjects are related to Google scripts...

May I confirm?
You received 8.5 euros in your AdSense Earnings report,
1 hour later, that was reduced to 3 euros,
15 minutes later, the 3 euros were reduced to 1 euro. Is this correct?

Welcome to my world.
Clicks disappear daily. Some 10 minutes later, some 1 hour later, some 8 hours later.
And we NEVER get any specific explanation, except the general "Invalid Clicks" token, cryptic, blanket dismissal.
How's about this fact -
The higher the click amount, the greater the probability that it will disappear. THAT IS A FACT.
I find this disturbing. And perhaps suggestive of G's desperation to maintain crazy-high profits. Are we all now to be thrown under the bus?

If there were ANY TRANSPARENCY from Google AT ALL on this matter,
then, (reader please provide this answer, in your opinion).
Thank you, from a old skeptic. Very, very old, and very, very skeptical.

Yes sort of, low earnings today and suddenly it was 8 euro's more, half a hour later there was a reduction of 3 and 15 minutes later another reduction of 1 euro.

Lack of transparency is bad for a company of this size and my CTR is not even above 0.5pct. Can't believe why another big company isn't entering this market to battle with Google.

Yes and some are happy with the lower monthly clawback but the daily clawback is much worse.

If there were ANY TRANSPARENCY from Google AT ALL on this matter,

Yes there is plenty of transparency:

"Estimated Earnings" that means that the numbers shown are subject to change. That is the way is, and is the way it has always been, it wont change.

At a certain point one needs to accept it. Spending your day watching for every change on the dashboard is probably not the productive use of your time. Not to mention, that the psychological toll that it will take on you to constantly feel like you are on the losing end. Close your Adsense dashboard and focus on some activity that has a reasonable chance of increasing your earnings, like promotions and marketing or creating new content.

@NickMNS

I wouldn't exactly call that "plenty of transparency'. I'd call it "blanket cop-out", or "disclaimer of responsibility".

I think you're right about the "psychological toll".
One tries for so long to comply with EVERYTHING, and yet, all still goes awry.
The frustration on so many fronts, of what was good, is no longer good.

Sorry - didn't mean to make this a political discussion.

First off, I am one of the bottom feeders of Adsense, so my following comment isn't coming from a place of arrogance and superiority.

Adsense is not forced on anyone, Adsense doesn't lock anyone into a contract, and Adsense doesn't make any promises. The complaints of ranking position by Google can be more debatable, but if Adsense isn't making the monetary sense one expects, why keep it and let it drain you emotionally. And, there is no "but…" in this argument.

but if Adsense isn't making the monetary sense one expects, why keep it

There is a very simple answer, because for most that complain, there is nothing better. Typically if you have website with loads of high quality traffic then you will end up with high demand from advertisers, this leaves you with many alternative options (header bidding, direct sales, etc...), moreover in such a situation Adsense tends to perform relatively well, so for the lazy unwilling to work to squeeze the lemon more Adsense is a great choice. But, when one has a site that has had its traffic ravaged by multiple Google Updates, traffic is poor quality, and volumes are low, none of those alternatives are viable. So you end up in a situation where your only option is AdSense.

I wouldn't exactly call that "plenty of transparency'

AdSense can be faulted for a lot of things, but they provide the best reporting of any ad network out there. They provide earnings estimate with minimal delay (nearly real-time) and always pay on time the 21st day of the following month the amount promised. The fact that they show you earnings from clicks that are not yet confirmed, in my view is exactly transparency. When it turns out that the click is invalid they roll it back. Other networks, provides you report with days of delay. So clearly they have had time to remove any invalid clicks before showing you anything. So in fact you have no idea of whether or not there has been in any invalid clicks (but ignorance is bliss).

Google is developing a ‘heavy ad’ blocker for Chrome

I don't believe they'll shoot themselves in the foot. AdSense is still a huge source of income for Google, furthermore, I would expect some problems for Google either from the EU or other governmental authorities related to their Ad-filled SERP, AdWords, and dominant position in the search/advertising markets sooner or later. So, I don't expect AdSense to lose its importance for Alphabet soon, maybe it'll gain even more relevance instead.
Therefore, if and when they'll enable some kind of "heavy ad’ blocker" in Chrome, I bet it'll penalize only those not using Adsense or nor complying with Google's rules and "recommendations".

This is like a partnership
Always complaining but at the end you stay.

Don t know any better investment than the one with Adsense I mean ROC wise including work hours.
Adsense has helped thousands of publishers feeding their families or paying their debts.
This is fact.
