I am protecting another reasonably good day. It's still very early in the US which is where my majority of traffic comes from. However, my CPC is at 29p. Only three clicks so far today but experience tells me that normally now CPC doesn't drop dramatically. It will be interesting to see what the CPC is at the end of today's earnings

@MayankParmar
Your messages is like a forecast! :) Every time when I have a bad day with Adsense, I just come here and see a message from you that earnings dropped. I even don't need to look at Adsense stats now - just watching your posts! Hope that earnings will back to the earlier level soon for tech niche...

I disabled ads on tablets with resolution 768px or below. Maybe it is affecting the revenue.
Because pageviews of desktop + tablet is up this month on analytics but down on AdSense.

If you disable ads on devices with a resolution inferior to 768 px, it means that your ads are not showing on smartphones. Or may be I misunderstood ?

@QuaterPan The phablets maybe. The plugin Ad Inserter has ad placement settings for desktop, tablet and smartphone. I can see ads on popular mobile resolution.

For me today its 19% better than yesterday. But i enable some otpion that was disabled at adsense. Its something about trackable content from user history... And i seperate ads for every page seperatly. Also i try advice from a guy who write to me to lower show low payed ads and that didnt bring me any good. Most of time i had blank ads.

CTR dropped in May, not just this week. CPC is strong. Anyone else? :)

I need another 4-5 day this month to reach the bad month of April...

I have already exceeded April's finalised earnings so at least I'm going in the right direction. Got a nice payment from media.net, think it was something like £86. That was two months of earnings for me. I look upon media.net as a bit of a bonus nowadays because I don't and enough for a monthly payout because their threshold is $100.

Since employing non-personalised ads more than a week ago I have not had one day that has reached the minimum daily earnings, today after 15 hours I am at 2p (2.66 cents), therefore tomorrow night I shall be removing AdSense from all sites except for one.
Why one site?
1. To see if earnings ever improve.
2. To keep my account active should I ever have a bright light moment and find something I can monetise with AdSense, however reality tells me that this will never happen.
CPC is strong. Anyone else?
I have to admit that when I do get any UK clicks that they are usually of reasonable value, 25-75p (33 Cents to 1 Dollar) however my CTR has completely collapsed, whether this is the non-personalised ads, GDPR or something else I have absolutely no idea, but it would seem to be an almighty coincidence that last week's implementation and a collapse so happen to have occurred together.
I can foresee thousands of sites removing AdSense since it will now be more trouble than it's worth because of Google's GDPR message today.

For me CTR only started decreasing around the 22nd which was followed by an increase in CPC anyone know why? Could It just be seasonal or could it be the ads style is going under tests? I noticed slight changes to the way mobile text ads look in the last few days

What traffic? This month had a lot of holidays/national days and long weekends. GDPR was the cherry on the coffin.

I implemented explicit consent for cookies on the 25th (and non-personalised ads for EU).
Naturally the vast majority when offered the opportunity of a 'no/declne' option to cookies (even for non-personalised ads), will take it...
So overall, the combination of dire CPC for non-personalised (5p and under for most EU countries), plus showing far less ads to that set of users means my EU adsense revenue plummeted by 90%.

The effect of this "option" is debilitating. Of course that 99% of the visitors will hit Accept (this means no personalized ads).
Great victory against Google and FB, now we are free on the internet! Wait, why do I need to pay not for a lot of usually free? Ah, no more ads? Damn!

The last couple of days have been horrible. Yesterday was CTR and the day before CPC.
As a website owner, are you required to do anything concerning GDPR? I see a lot of cookie notices on sites I am visiting in the last couple of weeks. I get much of my traffic from the US. If I don't do anything, can it impact rankings and Adsense in a negative way?
I've left the EU user consent settings in the Adsense admin panel as is.

I have absolutely no idea what this GDPR is all about to be honest with you. I got something through from AdSense and I change one of the positions and then click save. Will just have to wait and see what happens

CPC is 28p today. My CPC is really improved and I have not seen a really low CPC for quite a few days. I just wish I could get the clicks which would really boost my earnings. Oh well, at least I'm into triple figures already this month.
EDIT: just gained an extra click and my CPC increased by 4p up to 32p, I like it when it does that
I'm getting quite used to seeing the same sort of figures as I was getting when I was earning three or four times as much as I have done as of late. The only difference is the number of clicks. If I got 20 or 30 more clicks a day then I would be right back to how I was two or three years ago.

Okay, but for personalized ads, it requires explicit consent, before an ad request is placed. Sorry to be insisting, this is just to be sure you won't get troubles in your own country.
