I am up to 14 clicks with a 12p CPC so far today. But it's still early afternoon in the US so hopefully, things will get slightly better. At least marchers earnings were a lot better than January's.

@May Is it possible to work out how many clicks were disabled.

@Travis Every single ad placement is by them. Whenever I told them that x placement will violate the TOS, their reply was "The placement will boost the earnings, and nothing will happen to your account, trust us".

Regardless of the placement, Google's claim that the invalid clicks were from mobile and on two ads, is not true, those two ad unit never existed on mobile device. G is ignoring these questions, and only suggesting ad placement changes. Paid the Certified Partner $2000+ in these months only to lose $500 :(

A very strange thing this month.
Usually, Adsense had big variations, but this month, for me is very stable (in the low area).

The problem is now Adx - all the figures are very low and getting lower (from bad to worse).
Easter was a week ago, is the middle of the month and I can see only garbage ads.

@MayankParmar Certified Partner I work with is really strict about policy. From what I know, if you are serving AdX, you will be using their Adx account, so infringements will affect their own account and their partnership with Google. Besides, they also use an special console for Adsense accounts where you link your account by invitation, it's called Adsense MCM. Bad performing accounts linked will also affect them directly...so what you are saying sounds weird. Maybe you should try with another partner.

For the month so far, click rate is up versus last month while the CPC is down. Compared to last year, the click rate is down and the CPC is up. Go figure.

@Mentat I have been seeing the same high variability, extreme. Page RPM on Monday $1, Tuesday $4, Wednesday $0.80, so far today ~$2 all with roughly the same number of page views and impressions. Between Tuesday and Wednesday there is 5x factor difference in earnings. I don't get it! Variability is expected and normal but not to this extent. There must be some testing going on behind the scenes.

Hopefully this will settle down to a new normal at Tuesday's RPM. :0)

Extra click and now CPC has risen to 20p & the page RPM has gone up to £1.44

@dollarsound I'm using AdX but only on sidebar. The AdSense ad are placed by them and the team is now personally telling me that Google's claim is not true, and the deduction is weird, it should have never happened. Google says the deduction is for mobile ad revenue but nothing is wrong there, I have just two link ad and one display ad on mobile. It may be a bug and Google is not ready to admit.

Please PM me the partner that you are using. Will try them.

Adsense is constantly experimenting, it might be part of these experimentation. Also, Adsense is more and more identifying ad slots with a label, certainly to avoid misleading users.

i didn't want to say it the other day, but it's sure that lot of your ads seems to be against Adsense TOS, I am surprised that this is Certified Partner making these positioning, but may be it's protecting you , against Adsense TOS ? But it's sure that if Certified Partners are just here to position ads on your pages, this is a screw, ... I always thought that Certified Partners were also giving you access to premium ad inventory, and things like that.

@Travis Certified partners are here to make money. The more you make the more cut they will get. They might place ads at places which cause accidental clicks which will be discounted as invalid click.

(Our sites makes around 10k daily visitors so we have enough data to say that a significant drop...)

I’m noticing a higher CTR than usual on specific ads. Higher than usual by around 1 or 2% CTR

Still a little bit too early for me because the majority of traffic comes from the US. However, I've had four clicks at 20p so far so if you didn't drop too much I can get a decent amount of clicks it wouldn't be too bad. However, it seems likely the CPC has been fairly good but the clicks are just not coming. I think I'm going to have a look at my layout and change things around slightly and see I can improve the click rate.

You (everybody) shouldn't look at your Adsense stats all day long. This is not going to change anything, plus, stats might be delayed, or inaccurate. Better use your time to work at your site, and for a walk. If you need to have an idea of your earnings to plan your expenses, you can check once a week, or eventually once a day.

Not doing too bad here actually. Page RPM £2.88, CPC is at 19p and I'm at 22 clicks so far with a good eight hours of earning potential.

This month for me has been a high of £347.78 and a low of £226.33 per day. The start of month up until the 6th was an average of £308 while the average from the 7th until now is £257

CPC has taken a hit for me while CTR has increased but the CTR has not increased enough to account for the drop in CPC.

I notice my account does better around the 20th of the month on wards but i do see the earnings drop people are mentioning on my account too.

My guess is advertisers are in a new financial year and spring time can be one of the lowest consumer spending times of the year so advertisers may adjust their marketing budgets accordingly. Summer however is one of the biggest spending times so i would expect CPC to rise as we approach these months.

This just a guess tho, i don't know of any data that tracks CPC for keyword planners organic search ads ( i say search ads as i hope everyone knows Keyword Planner doesn't show CPC data for Adsense) over time, or if they even adjust the CPC that often to reflect the current market.
