Is anyone else seeing a delay? I'm literally seeing zero clicks, zero CPC, zero CTR etc.

I noticed that since this afternoon, all pages on my site have trouble loading adsbygoogle.js (https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js). The page will try to load adsbygoogle.js and sometimes it will load it, but most of the time it ends up throwing a 503 error Chrome DevTools. When trying to access the file directly, I notice the same problem. Ads can also take a really long time to load and sometimes don't even load at all. My AdSense RPM has also been much lower than usual today.

It seems like I'm having the same issues as many people here.

Adsense impressions and revenue are off due to 502/503 errors. CTR/CPC look fine.

Reached out to Google. No update yet.

Something is very strange, my stats are showing high coverage numbers 75% when my ad-balance is set 60%, but impressions are down by 33%. How does that work? This must be due to the 503 errors. The ads are not showing, so no impression, but the ad is called so the ad is covered?

@UpOnOne
Holly F! Where did you find that page? I had no idea that such a page existed. Thanks, its bookmarked for future OCD checking.

Unfortunately this has solved my issue. My switch to https has pushed me back into the "brand safety" nightmare.

After years of growth and very stable RPM's and earning , I moved my main site from http to https yesterday. To my shock and horror, my earnings dropped 70% overnight with a US coverage of only 67&. Ads pop up in weird languagesm, I have a lot of blank ad places and my RPM suddenly stands 75% lower than my very stable monthly average.

Does anyone have an explanation for this? Must google/Adsense recrawl my site? Is there a way back?
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated.

@Kireb Yes, you need to wait while G crawls your page, there's no way you can skip it :( Things will improve once again in a couple of days.

My day has started off quite well considering the majority of my traffic comes from the US and is not even 12 o'clock noon here in the UK.

My page RPM is £5.39 and my CPC has been fluctuating between 28p and 37p. I've only had seven clicks so far but for my site, that is good.

March has really started off a lot better than the last couple of months. I really thought things were going to drop out completely, seems I was wrong.

@NickMNS I am glad you like that link. I found that beauty on the Adsense forums. I was actually trying to link directly to the report but the query string is getting chopped off. Try this: ads.google.com/status#hl=en&v=issue&sid=24&iid=096ccd16418ea388d05b03acbc0519d2

Due to a bug in DoubleClick, we were unable to track and record some ad impressions, clicks and conversions for a period of time on March 13th (EDT). Some redirects also did not work as intended. For customers who link their DoubleClick and Google Analytics (or Google Analytics 360) accounts, impacted events were not recorded.

To mitigate the issue, we briefly paused conversion tracking and automated bidding on DoubleClick Search, and some bidding on DoubleClick Bid Manager.

We have fixed the bug and will continue to monitor over the coming days.

Looks like I lost some backs because of this bug, as I'm still far below the average.

Ever since last week's algo update my earnings have been half of the first week or so. Yesterday was diabolical with clicks, click value and CTR scraping the bottom of the barrel.

14 clicks so far and CPC has only dropped to 22p, quite pleased about that.

Just checked my stats and so far this month US PVs are only 20% more than UK, great Google the USA is 600% the population of the UK with a far bigger trade in my widget materials.

And to make things "worse", my UK earnings are +339% v USA.

It would seem that Google only likes large retail brands, Amazon/Ebay/etc and social garbage these days.

Is today still delayed for you guys? If not then it's turning in to a LOW day for me :-(

Something is still no right. My PV's are ahead by 50% but my impressions are lagging by about the same.

Stated differently, my impressions are at a ratio of 0.5 : 1 yet I have at least one ad per page. My coverage is at 75%. So my ratio should be at at least 0.75:1, most recently it has been 1:1. So something isn't adding up. I think in AdSense we are still seeing the effects of the bug reported by UponOne. I am also seeing an increase in the number of 3rd party ads. I don't know what is happening in my account but it is very strange.

I am seeing the same thing. Stats aren't adding up and if I browse my site for a while I am still finding ads that are taking forever to load. I hope they really are still monitoring it because I don't think it is fixed.

This seems to be another big issue after the 8th August bug.

CPC is also down.

My Adsense pageviews are fine today, but revenue numbers are way down
Looks like another bug - this week has pretty much been a write-off

As a rule I don't post here when things are going good... So far this year has been well down on last year. Jan and Feb were only down single figure %-wise. March though is down 25% YoY.

Looking at my stats it seems to be down to a mix of CTR and CPC. Overall traffic is up slightly.

BUT, looking at the graph it seems this might be due to last year being particularly good. At least the first few months there was a big rise in CTR. Not sure why. CPC however, seems to be on an ever decreasing trend and there is no sign of a pre-Easter bump this year as in previous years.

This is based on around 100k page views a day across a few niches.

We are still 62% down over last year. Nothing changed on our end. The only thing I can do is continue to work on trying to get better mobile going on our site; but I'm not at all sure that's going to help.

As a side note - there was a class action lawsuit around here which took decades to resolve, it was natural gas well owners vs. a huge gas corporation. The corp was not being very transparent and the "class" was convinced that the company was taking more of the owners' money than they were entitled to for their so- called expenses...but because of the lack of transparency the owners didn't have perfect proof that they were being screwed. It took decades to resolve, the lead plaintiff died in the meantime. But the gas owner little guys WON and in some cases they ended up getting thousands of dollars in "back pay." Now I think over-litigation causes tremendous problems socially etc. etc. But it's hard for my addled little mind not to think that if the big G is NOT completely on the up-and-up.... eventually it will be fixed via the courts. Of course, I could be totally imagining the whole thing, and G. could be totally blameless.

Damn. Forgive my whining. I'm working hard, trying to improve our lot. Glad you guys are here. It helps.

Anyone else seeing earnings down significantly today?
Am wondering if the bug from a couple of days ago has not been fixed properly?

Yup, still down. I am still seeing inflated PV and/or under reported impressions.

@NickMNS
Same here - PVs don't seem to be the problem for me
But RPM, CTR and overall revenue are way down (more than 50%) versus normal today
It's been like this for most of the week unfortunately. Hopefully will be fixed soon

When I compare Analytics to AdSense it appears that impression are correct, in that both are reporting the same figure (as close as can be expected). So it seems that my PV's are off.

@NickMNS
I'm not sure I understand what you mean
Do you think there is a problem with Adsense?
My RPM is half what it normally is

I'm not sure what to think right now. I have recently updated my website, so my issues may be specific to me and the more I investigate the more I think that that is the case.

A quick comparison for the first two weeks of March:

8th - 14th v 1st - 7th Earnings at 52.6%

8th - 14th v 1st - 7th PVs at 87.6%

8th - 14th v 1st - 7th UK PVs greater than USA PVs

Since 9th March algo update I have had only 1 day with USA PVs higher than UK's.

As a business tool Google is now almost useless for me, it simply cannot deliver.

Reporting is lagged or the market tanked a bit.

I had the same issue on Monday and it fixed itself around 6PM ET.
