Another month, another problems, but let's hope everyone will be happy with Adsense this month. May the force be with you!

Now to the point - Huge clawback for September earnings - like 8% , which is high three digit...

I do not use GA ... however here are my genuine metrics for Sunday using Google AdSense figures.

PVs: My lowest-ever, at 67.3% of my previous lowest-ever day .. yes almost 33% lower in one single day compared to my previous lowest day ... this is unreal. Xmas Day looked positively active.

This equates to 23.06% of the last 20 month's average.

Yeah Google, completely normal insofar as you goons are concerned!

This is ridiculous, WTF is going on?

If you have not yet had a look at what devices people are using to browse your website then you might be surprised. In the last six days, I've had 4500 people accessing my website using an iPhone. The next device in the list is the Apple iPad and that is just 613. The next mobile phone is Samsung and it seems only 213 people have used one of these phones to access my site in nearly a week. In fact, Samsung is the only other mobile listed and the rest of them add up to another thousand or so hits.

@Ironside

If, and it is a very big if, your stats are correct, then you have the most unusual set of visitors in the world since Apple has 14.7% of the world's mobile market compared to Android's 85.0%, that's almost 6X their market share, source:

[idc.com...]

Obviously Android usage is spread amongst all the other manufacturers nonetheless I would have thought that Android should dominate usage over IOS, certainly when I just checked my stats that's the proportion I found.

@Redbar yes, most of my traffic is mobile nowadays, I do get desktop traffic but it's nowhere near the amount I get from mobile phones. At first, it bothered me, however, I'm starting to see my earnings rise slowly each month, in fact, this month will probably exceed last month by a few quid. My page rpm never ever drops below £2 and is normally between £2.50 and £3.50. The CTR appears to be a lot higher nowadays. The CPC varies on a daily basis. But clicks are slowly increasing nowadays which is encouraging.

What I'm hoping is more people will go onto the iPhone seven because it's got an awesome screen and the Google ads render really well. I thought I'd never say it but I think there is a future for us with people who are moving onto mobile devices to browse the Internet. All my figures are back to what they used to be apart from the CPC. My CPC used to be around 30p which is when I was earning two or three times more than I am nowadays. I'm hoping that will slowly improve over the next few months.

September my desktop was 48%, this month it is 52.8% and for the last 3 months 49.9%, until June desktop was around the 56-57% mark therefore I'm thinking that it's right on the cusp now for me. I do know that a lot of my trade visitors use mobiles for research yet need desktop screens for serious image comparisons/examination.

There have been lots of phones with far superior screens to the iPhone 7 for quite some time now, I've been using 1920 x 1080 HD for at least 3 years, however I feel you are correct in that once people use this type of resolution ads are much better presented. Interestingly my phone can connect directly to a full HD screen and can almost be used like a normal desktop.

My average EPC this month is up 1p over September:-)

Welcome to my world:-)

Actually, for me, the last couple of days have been some of the month's best, I doubt it will continue but at least when this happens I do know things can be better.

At the moment I'm a month or so into constructing a new corporate website combining information from several existing ones, overall I expect it to take me another 3-4 months and hopefully when it is completed with all its extra new information and images that it will blow out some of the diabolical, and misinformational, sites that Google ranks ... As if that's ever likely to happen!

According to Google analytics, I have received 590,000 from mobile devices. Desktop is 162,000 and finally, tablet brought in around 50,000. And that is since January 1, 2017.
I've had 245,100 sessions for people using an Apple iPhone. The Apple iPad comes second at 34,000 and then we start with Samsung which brought in end of loan 10,900

My October 2017 vs October 2016:
PVs: Up 18%
Clicks: Up 5%
RPM: Down 15%
Coverage: Down almost 10% (whoa)
Earnings: Up by enough to buy a couple of burgers.

Half-expecting a large clawback due to heavy zombie track and numerous high-value clicks later in the month.

Just got my finalised earnings through. Approximately 1.5% clawback which equates to very very low single digits so I'm quite happy. However, the past few months the earnings have increased after a couple of days so be keeping an eye on them.

For those ditching Adsense, what are your alternatives?

Iíve been searching, but Adsense is still the best option.
