Will those of us who have seen recent big falls in earnings recover this month or not?

Just wanted to ask if anyone else is experiencing a massive delay in clicks and earnings being updated. My site generally receives 1500+ visitors a day, and my CPC and pageviews appear to be updating fine, but my CTR -- and consequently, earnings -- is sitting at an appalling 0.07 -- that's right, not 0.7, but 0.07%. Not normal -- it's normally at 1.5 to 2.5%. Today, it's not even at a tenth of a percent. The site itself appears fine, ads are where they should be. The content is very targeted.

I've seen delays before, but this is kind of nuts.

Does anybody here use a VPS on Host Gator?

Delays are the new normal for AdSense. Have been this way for a couple months now. Wouldn't expect a return to anything near "real stats" in the near future.

Im way up on earnings today (by threefold). I thought it was a click attack at first, but all my stats look normal... page views, CTR. My rpm is crazily high though, but im sure it will all disappear soon

avalon, I'm sorry to hear that. I've become quite accustomed to some delay, but this is really quite something. Clicks still haven't updated at all. At this rate, I may have to wait until tonight or tomorrow for things to update (hoping for a big click-dump).

Yes it seems to be feast or famine on Adsense lately. As in one hour of feasting and another ten hours of famine. But earnings and RPM end up fine at the end of the day, for me at least, so that's all I care about.

@londrum, yesterday was a crazy day for me with about 70% of total earnings in the first six hours, then peanut money after that. It pays not to get too excited.

@Ironside, my sites use a VPS but not with Hostgator.

@trebuchet: Thanks for the sort-of-encouraging words. I guess you're right, what matters is the earnings at the end of the day -- it's just that it's frustrating when you have no idea what's happening during the day.

I agree with with MrSavage. Just wait a little bit)

Just wanted to let everyone know that it's a new day, and yesterday's stats are as stuck as they were then, still at 1/10 to 1/15 of what earnings would normally be. Who knows, maybe they'll still update.

At least today (earnings still look low for this time), my Performance Reports tab has a mesage at the top which says, "We're sorry, some data in this report is delayed," and something about how it doesn't impact ad serving or payments.

Whee! Anyhow, hopefully it all resolves nicely soon.

Not "stuck", but suck. The pageviews are moving, but the earnings are sucking BIG today....Hardly any clicks (being recorded, that is).

What a "coincidence" that today is the day the Fed is supposed to come out with an interest rate decision, which will impact the global stock markets either way....

We're sorry, some data in this report is delayed, please try again later. There's no impact to ad serving or payments.

Seeing this today on adsense. Revenue this Thursday 20% down in comparison to what I usually get on normal Thursdays.

BTW, I see 3 votes under my name. How to vote for users in here?

Those are the 'like' votes above each post.

I am not seeing any 'like' button/link on any post. Does it has any qualification criteria for the option to appear?

I've no idea. Perhaps it's not available to 'New User' posters. Or maybe you need a minimum amount of posts. I don't know how the forum hierarchy works here.

Haven't posted here for years. But yes, Adsense earnings are terrible and I have been thinking that it may have something to do with so many people using ad blockers these days.

But to be honest I don't blame them, I use adblock myself. I just focus mainly on text links for most of my sites and they haven't made a blocker for that yet so I'm still safe for a while!.

peter250 : Adblockers are not responsible for EPC drops, wrong logic.

I never said it was.. my EPC isn't actually that bad. That's when I do get a click of course. Maybe I'm just more easily pleased these days..I had a decent paying click the other day! Was going to post the amount but read it's not allowed! Don't let that fool you though, decent click once here and there yes to even the EPC out a little, but I don't make much overall with Adsense. However, when I compare my stats over various platforms I'm convinced that less Adsense impressions, and obviously clicks, is due to more visitors using ad blockers.

Adblockers are not responsible for EPC drops, wrong logic.

Not directly (or immediately), but if enough advertisers worry about ad blockers and decide to shift more of their budgets into other channels (such as "native advertising"), that could lead to a drop in demand, and less demand = lower bids = lower EPC.

All I can say about Sunday is that if stats were not delayed then Europe was totally asleep since at one point it looked as though I was heading for my lowest PVs ever, fortunately overnight the USA was online and PV numbers recovered to a bit below average Sunday.

Did F1, World Rugby, Davis Cup, Soccer and a few other sporting events have such a dramatic effect?

Not sure why but I also had lower than usual weekend figures from European countries, particularly UK.

The opposite would make more sense to me: more ads blocked leads to fewer impressions, increasing competition among advertisers (who will still want their piece of the shrinking pie), which could bump up the EPC.

What a record low day.

I am positive Adsense will be dead (sooner or later). If you disagree with me, that's fine too - I hope it works out for you in a few years time ;)

Has anyone enabled the full-page mobile Adsense ads? What sort of results are you seeing?

I've had them on one of my sites for over a week now, results are very poor indeed so far.

I enabled sticky ads and vignette ads on one section of my website last week to check their efficiency. Extremely low CTR - it seems no body is clicking on these ads. Mostly, will not extend it to other sections / other websites. However, will monitor for another month or so to see if anything changes.

Our AdSense revenue has been trending upward in the last few days.

I did make one change--I blocked "interest-based ads" a few days ago--but correlation isn't the same as causation.

I won't be deploying those. Too much like a user-annoying interstitial for my liking. And mobile usage on my sites is fairly low anyway.

PVs, CTR, EPC, earnings the past few days... average, average, average and average. These days that's not such a bad thing.
