Finishing this month at just below 5 figures, very slightly higher than May, but almost 4 times higher than June 2014. CTR was not what I had expected but huge increase of my traffic helped to recover the loss. Normally I'd have had 3x more clicks with this kind of traffic. Media.NET has also started to clime up, not as well as Adsense, but I would never expect it to be even close to it anyway. I have tried Vertoz for 2 weeks on several of my high traffic pages, first of it slowed my page load a bit, second adds are not relevant to my content at all and third, because adds are not relevant it really has not made much so it is gone for now at least.

Far more normal earnings today. I'll take it. I've adjusted a lot of my expenses to deal with the 1/3 that I make now compared to about 1.5 to 2 years ago.

Compared same period last year, CTR cut in over a half in June this year. Earnings have been back to 2011.

What a disastrous USA finishing day to the month:

PVs 148%
Clicks 4th lowest, two of the others were Sundays
CTR Lowest by a big margin 36.6% of average
CPC Second lowest ay 48.7%
RPM Lowest at 18.06% and that was 41.2% of my previous low
Earnings Lowest 26.7% and 13.6% of the previous day.

Needless to say it was one of my worst days of 2015, WTH happened?

I haven't received my finalised earnings yet, but June's earnings were certainly up on May and April so that is nice to see. Whether it's due to some swapping around of ads, I really couldn't say for sure. I shall just leave things as they are and see how the first half of July goes, if it looks like it's going to do the same of June then maybe my changes have made a difference. Let's just see how much is taken off my earnings. I've been quite lucky in the last few months, they don't normally take a big chunk of me, fingers crossed.

June was the best overall month of the year for earnings, but the lowest month of the year for Adsense.

Just got June's earnings confirmed, they are only 61p less than the estimated earnings. So suffice to say I am quite happy.

June was certainly better than May, but still poor in terms of the traffic vs revenue ratio.

And this is largely due to abysmal CTR. Compared to one year ago, my RPM today is only 30% of what it was.

Well, nothing much to be said. This is the normal state of things now.

Had an interesting 24 hours. First of all discovered kind of a bug/programming issue in some of the custom code that prevented pageviews on some traditionally popular pages (basically you could get there directly, but they were gummed up and redirecting from the Nav) Let my partner know, he worked all day on a fix, and as soon as he rolled it out to all the sites, the CTR jumped back to normal. Like, immediately. Correlation? Causation? I dunno, but CTR has stayed up ever since. NOW we're talking.

Finished AdSense at 90.5% of last June, which is a first. I hope it was because of our bug, but I dunno. They clawed back less than 1% for invalid traffic. By the time I add in the two extra networks plus the direct ads, we're way over last June - just not in AdSense (at least I assume we are; I haven't gotten one network's final number yet)

Traffic and social are way way up this year, so if I don't get knocked out by a Panda, I should be well positioned for next year.

I finally signed up to say this has been the worse month in over a year.
RPM went from around 10 to 2 on a good day.

THEN to top it off I got a notice from G saying my ads were deceiving(after the tanking) when they are in fact not and are very normal just like everyone else.
So I now have the wording Sponsored Link above all units. I can't tell what effect that has had since they already tanked.

At first I thought, maybe it's all this poor targeting, I see them putting ads that no one would ever click but I just can't tell.

I do see a lot of take backs now. I think the new Mobile reduction thing is killing it. They basically remove almost all those clicks.

june was very good month compared to other months this years, ctr is still poor, but cpc is 10% higher which is great

also, I cannot open main page for the last 2 days, it loads normally but as soon as I see the numbers, page just flashes and I see "We apologize for the inconvenience, but we are unable to process your request at this time. Our engineers have been notified of this problem and will work to resolve it." message (tested with Chrome).

what is going on?

@How Yes No

Looks like you're not the only one who is getting this very annoying problem. This has been happening since yesterday afternoon, I can momentarily see my account information and then it flashes to this apology and the engineers are working on it, wish they would hurry up.

Probably won't get fixed until the holiday is over. You can still go the Performance Reports though; that seems to be okay.

The text links, I think it's a 180 x 90 unit I have above my left hand menu have completely outperformed all other ads during June and the beginning of this month.
