An unbelievably low EPC for me today from the USA at 18.2% of July average, honestly that's less than what I get from India!

I dunno, I have been able to get some places but for example, couldn't get to WebmasterWorld all day via Comcast (but could get here via Verizon on my iPhone) Comcast had some major outages all day in this area, possibly due to our extreme weather yesterday, plus I ran across this post (and if it's true, maybe it's more to the point):

[nux.ro...]

Bottom line - I could get to about half the sites I normally traverse today, and my traffic across all my own sites was unseasonably low until just the past hour or so.

I briefly had connection issues early this morning around 8am (Pacific time zone) but it cleared up rapidly. I don't use Comcast, it's not in my part of Nevada. Something definitely went haywire somewhere. This site was the only one I couldn't get of all the sites I tried.

Datacenter guys finally got back to me 12 hours later and they say it was one of their upstream providers having problems connecting to many major ISP's. Could very well be related to that IPv4 thing. Peer1 was ok but westel (navigata) was gone. 12 hours is serious downtime for them.

CPC took a huge drop for a while...?

Surprisingly, traffic bounced back quite well in late afternoon so I'm only down about 35% for the day.
It was a wakeup for me though,so I just started setting up a 2nd server on the east coast to hopefully minimize any future problems.

Coverage is WAY off, down 5% and up to 50% on some sites.

This is a disaster. WHAT is going on?

Third lowest EPC of the year so far today ... Is the Plex on holiday and left the A.I. in control? Note to humans, it doesn't work!

Wish AdSense would quit fu#king with the ads. One day blue arrows, one day gray arrows, big text, little test, ugly 4 vertical ads in 336 x 280 ad unit.

Ad units with arrows, ad units without arrows. It never stops.

I guess they need something for the staff to do all day.

Notice they never change the look of the ads in search results except the addition of the little "ads" box.

They leave search ads as is because that style works the best.

(My little rant) :)

You haven't seen the one with 4 horizontal ads in a 336x ad block yet?
I don't know what they were thinking (or smoking) when they came up with that idea.

Just deleted cookies because I was tired of an ad following me around for a product I had already purchased.

Blue arrows went back to gray pewter color and the arrow box radius got larger so that it is almost a circle.

The ugly 4 horizontal ads in a 336x280 ad block is gone and the animated panel is back with arrows in a gray circles.

So basically you have no idea what ad style visitors are seeing on your sites.

I imagine the average user does not delete cookies very often

My traffic for last couple of days has been normal but my clicks and earnings are down. One thing I did notice is that on the 12th and 13th my "Unmatched ad requests" were WAY up. I normally see about 30 a day. Tuesday and Wednesday were both in the thousands.

Well, I know when to throw in the Google towel. When the CTR gets down to 1/10 of 1%, it's time to give it up. This is beyond ridiculous.

Did you add some link units?

It's the 512k bug. It's still affecting traffic today and is expected to be a problem for at least another 2 weeks.
Several Google api's have been impacted from what I've seen in network traffic reports since early Tuesday. I'm pretty sure it's also affecting Adwords.

Seeing a cpc decrease of over 30% on U.S. clicks this week. No change in % breakout by device type.

Doing some testing with media dot net ads. RPM is higher than good ole AdSense.

Will roll out some more pages and see what happens.

Expect RPM to drop with more ad impressions.

My RPM is rock bottom....I mean WAY under $1. I've put media dot net ads on in place of the Google 350x250 ads and placed Google ads at the bottom. The next step is removing Google ads completely.

I did not add any link units. I don't use them. My ad layout did not change at all during this time. Yesterday and today look better but CPC is down.

nah, media dot net is way way worst. Surprisingly, not even close to adsense rate. One of my small sites which earn $15 per day with AS only gets less than a dollar a day with media net. What a joke. Yahoo is greedier than Google.

I replaced a struggling 336x280 adsense ad unit a few days ago with a media.net ad unit. So far, media.net has beaten the current adsense RPM for that placement by three times.

Will it last? Who knows. But it is working now.

Yahoo is greedier than Google.

Adsense gives us 68% of every click. How is that greedy?

Adsense is owned by Google. Medianet is owned by Yahoo. Yahoo is greedier. I don't even want to consider putting medianet in my main site.

Friday saw my lowest AdSense PVs since pre-Panda 4, -33% v August average.

G seemed to be having trouble actually serving ads at times not only on my sites but also others I visited, could this be a 512k issue?

If it is not performing for you, then I would agree. It does, though, work for some sites. And in some cases equal to or better than adsense.

Weird, Adsense earnings are bouncing up and down again. I haven't seen that many clicks being shaved for months now. This month I've seen a historically low RPM.

It's also a downhill spiral for me. Hopefully it picks up soon.
