August 2011 was better than I expected, is everyone ready to get back to work and do some serious clicking in September?

More than 1.4 million people were stricken by a power outage on Thursday afternoon in the U.S. states of California and Arizona. San Diego Gas and Electric (SDG&E) in southern California said that the mishap appeared to have originated in Arizona and was caused by a system breakdown, assuring that it was not related to terrorism. Electricity might not be fully restored until Friday, the company said, adding that the continuous hot weather might be part of the cause.

When did all those clicks get dumped?
Best post Panda 2.1 day however I have never experienced such a tight click volume range as the past four days with a 2.5% spread. Earnings have a 12.3% spread over the same four days.

Friday not off to a great start after solid Thursday, so far the stats have been dead.

I feel they're using a new valid click proceedure. Every daytime this last week I have seen very few clicks up until 24.00-02.00 my time UK yet when I log-in about 09.00 I've had a click dump. Very nice but also extremely frustrating wondering whether something has gone wrong.

Yup. Not that you could ever accurately gauge things by AdSense stats in the past, but the illusion was better. Nowadays, stats are so far behind they're more a headache than a helpful guide.

Things seem to be moving along okay for me.
But two things seem odd to me today - first of all, aren't numbers usually finalized by this time? I don't show August final numbers yet. Maybe it's just me.
And second of all, we hardly ever have maintenance Saturdays anymore. What's up with that? Not that I miss them, but it's odd they just stopped.

Unbelievable, yesterday I wrote:

Friday, my 5th day and my click volume was precisely 100% of the 5 days!

Guess it's not just me with a page that isn't updating; looking at the AdSense forum it's a bunch of people. People getting finalized numbers in crazy reductions too. Wonder what's up with that.

Having an odd day (and month in general; Google report one figure then a few hours later show a lower figure).
This morning (couple hours after new day reset) I had a few clicks and revenue was at around £1.60. Now I've had a bunch more clicks and revenue's only up 2p (i.e. £0.02). Either stats are stuck big time or CPC is rubbish.

@Netmeg - I had a reduction, too. It wasn't a lot but it was the first one in a long, long time. Perhaps the first ever.

If in fact invalid clicks are culled on a daily basis why do I lose again at the end of the month?
Since panda I have lost about 5 buck every month... Pre-panda I would lose if anything just a couple of cents.
netmeg
4:22 am on Sep 11, 2011 (gmt 0)
Yea I would lose a few bucks here and there, but in July they took just over $100 off the top - never had that much removed, but it was also the biggest earning month (with the most clicks) I ever had too, so I figured the invalid clicks just went up to scale. Does seem weird they're taking during the month and after the month too.
