Come on G, shake things up a bit, you're becoming far too predictable!

Page impressions are at half of the average...not updating?

It's horrible. They must have done something else to the system.

Yeah it looks like it. It is hard not to be utterly cynical about the intellects and competence of the people who would do this.

I received a big click dump. Earnings are about average.

Checking the monthly reports I see that my biggest Pandalised site had its worst 3 days ever last Friday, Saturday and Sunday when Panda 2.3 was released and Impressions have been down again since.

My previously non-pandalised sites Impressions are about the same however clicks, CTR and earnings are way down ~50%...just how much this has to do with Panda or the garbage ads I've been getting is up for speculation, needless to say I'm not at all impressed with screw-up after screw-up.

Any other organisation making foul-ups like this would have been closed down by now.

Yesterday closed at 35%. July earnings are going to be about half what they were a year ago. :-(

HuskyPup

Yep, I'm going to be about 45% of July 2010, pitiful:-(

I'd had a terrible July, so unblocked all the ads on my blocked list. For 5 days I had awesome results, and had several above average days following it, but then it went back to lousy. I decided I've nothing to lose, so put the block list back into place, and suddenly earnings shoot up again. I don't get it!

@zarathustra2011 Welcome to the roller coaster ;-)
Seriously, the way the stats have been for me over the last few months, I've all but given up trying to make sense of them. At least for you, AdSense seems to be working inspite of your blocking experiments. That's good (things could be worse, lots).

I'll be lucky if I close the month at 35% of July 2010. It's been an unmitigated disaster and Panda just won't let up on my main site despite doing a complete overhaul (site redesign, menu overhaul, rewritten content, less ads, great above-the-fold ad-to-content ratio, the whole nine yards...)... :(

I compare these Google stats to a see-saw. When CTR is down, CPC is up. When CPC is down, CTR is up. There has NEVER been a variation on this on my site.

I'm almost ready to replace all of AdSense and get rid of Google Analytics. They've had enough influence on my life already, and I'm sick of it.

I can feel a switch-off happening on 31st July with my sites.

HuskyPup I have a suggestion for you... before you give up on it, why not try removing all of your ad filters? Also, if you have any ads that are text-only, try changing them to text_image.

My observation is that you seem to have made a lot of adjustments, and maybe that has something to do with the low CTR. So my suggestion (for anyone, not just HP) is to set everything back to default, and give Google the most leeway to decide what works best, just to see if it works that way. Since you're ready to give up anyway, it couldn't hurt.

On a side note, I removed all of the filters a long time ago, and switched over to text_image at the beginning of the year.

@Play_Bach, I'm having the same issue...more clicks, earnings haven't budged.

Another bad day. Stats lagged/dead/banjaxed.

I am considering ripping out Analytics as I don't see why I should be giving these people information.

That's funny. I'm in the process of removing Analytics right now.

Heard about 2.3 - is that live everywhere. Sorry, slightly off topic there but I guess it may indirectly have impact on earnings for some.

Another above average day. I will continue to keep my ads blocked, and if GoogleAds ends up poor again, I'll unblock them. I'm sure it makes no difference, but fiddling around with things seems to change things. It's been one mixed up, crazy month, but I think I'll only be about 15% down on previous month's earnings.

Got a big boost from 2.3. Starting July 22, our Adsense income increased significantly -- and continued to hold on

The only ones I've added in the past week have been Google, Vodafone and Groupon, all the rest have been the same for probably a couple of years.

I'm still using text_image since I thought I'd try the GooVodaGro banning first and yesterday ended up with my best day in two weeks with an average EPC of USD 0.55!

My CTR went down the same day as Panda 2.1, that's a definite therefore I assume that my CTR was better beacuse G was sending valid traffic whereas now I may be getting less qualified traffic or these are bots playing the system.

Haven't changed anything. July is closing with a nice 5% increase over the last 3 months. Slowly crawling back from panda.

A definite above average day yesterday - I'm thinking now that whether you block ads or allow them really has little impact on earnings. July's earnings are now set to match June, so I'm happy, as they're just a fraction off May's which was my best month with Adsense ever.

HuskyPup

9:15 am on Aug 1, 2011 (gmt 0)

Horrible Sunday and third worst day of July at 71.2% of daily average and back to Xmas earnings.

Almost identical Page Impressions compared to June but 82.9% of clicks, 86% CTR, 97.5% eCPM and earnings at 98.9%.

Methinks August is going to be a disaster, prove me wrong G.

I'm now going to start looking at other widgets since mine are obviously not required by G...only by real-world customers!

Oh...and 45.79% of July 2010 earnings!

Well July finished at approximately 64.69% of June 2011's earnings. Not sure how that *%$££^rd Panda moronicism deals with very large directory and information sites where people actually search for data. Might have to reread that Google patent again to see if these people have allowed for deep content sites.

July ended up at just under three times the best month I ever had. Which is great. But now I will have a few months of severe drought - this is typically when I do my development work and planning for next year. I added a couple new sites that need more work and have an idea for two more for next year. Plus a badly neglected personal blog.
