AdSense Reporting Lag November 2010

does anybody see their adsense earnings appear to be reporting slow today? the impressions are pretty much where they should be for this time of day, but the earnings seem too low. anybody else seeing this?

Reporting seems fine over here today.

Do you have Google Analytics hooked up with AdSense? When my impressions freeze and clicks stop due to some AdSense lag or other, I've noticed Analytics will update AdSense revenue before AdSense does.

my analytics and adsense are not linked, but the impressions are almost identical on both. it's just that the eCPM and the earnings are unusually low for this time of day.

Mine is a USA site and I have done quite well today.
As for voting... well, I remember when Bush was being elected for the 2nd time. I had 10 separate visits to my site from the Whitehouse. No idea whatsoever why they would be interested in my site on their most important day of their careers.

Not everyone is interested in Politics, even if they make out they are. There's still plenty of surfers around :)

analytics seem to have a glitch again and we probably will see the reporting lags (or loss), in adsense too...google sucks a lot these days with their professionalism..

interestingly, the analytics data for november 2 seem to have disappeared while that for nov 3 is there, but i feel it is under reported.

Came here to see if I'm not alone - and I'm not: showing ZERO clicks so far today and Analytics data from Nov 2 is completely gone. As of late last night though, everything looked normal and Nov 2 was a better than average day rev-wise.

Everything is fine on my end, as expected. Actually it has been great since I set all my ads to text/images a few days ago. I'm getting higher pay per click. Let's see how long this last...

CTR remains about the same, the average from previous weeks. The EPC is the one increasing. I seriously believe this from Google:

"Opting in to both Text / Image means more competition!

We've found that our publishers who show both image and text ads are able to earn higher revenues. Opting into both text and image ads increases competition among the ads competing to appear on your site, as both text and rich media ads (image, flash and video) will compete in the ad auction. We will then automatically display the ads which will yield the highest earnings for you."

It has been working for me "so far". Heard it doesn't work for others.

Head to head test for me over about 1.5 million impressions, image ads pulled just under twice the CTR of text ads. These were ad units set up to be image only or text only, and rotated evenly. YMMV.

Image ads pay more per click because the advertiser has to bid enough to out-bid three or four text ads in order to run. Trust me. I'm an advertiser. I know.

I do get your point. Thanks for sharing your experience. I do have my image ads on the sidebar but the main revenue yielding ad spot is text only ads.I am thinking of changing it over to text/image on a few sites to see how it works.

is anyone else experiencing a lag today? One of our sites has only received 5 clicks after 12pm today. It's strange because we had about 70 at 12 and seems like it died. Overall our earnings are about 30% lower today.

Stats are working almost live, But ctr is low. Had great October, November seems to be not good as of till date.Anyone having great November breaking all time records?

Yesterday was one of the most terrible Wednesdays for us in over 60 days. Today, same thing. Seems like things died down tomorrow after 10am. Some sites are still ok but one we used too get 9% CTR has declined to around 4%. I hope things change soon.

yes november 2010 has been poor compared to october 2010 (the last wo weeks in particular) for us..

There was an issue with adsense in october (slow reporting) and google corrected it with a lot of click dumps, after it was brought to their notice.I guess there is something similar happening this month too, but it may not be widespread.Hope they correct this soon, if it is something that is seen on many sites.

Stats completely stuck for me today.

My impressions have risen but my clicks are reporting 0, despite an above-average number of clicks being reported by StatsCounter.

Lucky you, wait until you're getting under 1% like many publishers have reported in the past.

Trying not to put a hex on my earnings, today looks normal so far and the first 3 days have been ok, yesterday saw my second highest click day of the year but, of course, it was also combined with an EPC right at the bottom end of my average therefore it was just another day muddling around in the middle.

At least, for the moment, I am earning unlike some unlucky ones.
