does anybody see their adsense earnings appear to be reporting slow today? the impressions are pretty much where they should be for this time of day, but the earnings seem too low. anybody else seeing this?

It is just maintenance. Don't read anything into it.
If you have a sh*t day today, you would have had one anyway, regardless of there being maintenance or not.

Just curios, why we can't login to adsense while in maintenance. We certainly can search in goog every day regards lot of algo changes.
BTW, just received a huge pile of dump right now. Today is an extra ordinary day.
I hate maintenance periods. Half the time, my earnings drop without reason until the next maintenance....

CLICKBUMP ALERT! lol. It was 11 am and earnings were just too low, barely any clicks were being registered. Usually by 11 I always had the pig gutted, washed and ready to roast. Thought was going to be a really horrible day but it is only 12:30 pm and I'm already very close to call it a record breaking day. One of the best half a days I've ever had! Nice clickbump!
T'is the season to be jolly, tra la lala, la la, la laaaaaa :-) Hope you guys get yours too.

Today is not record-breaking, but encouraging and looking like it'll be a decent day.
I agree with cien, it usually looks somewhat dismal in the early hours, and then the numbers start to kick in about noonish.

I'm seeing a significant drop in CTR over the last few days, on the order of 50% fewer clicks on a very well established site.

Right now this is one of the worst days of the year as regards CTR/earnings. Adsense is either seriously borked or lagged.

low earnings 2 days ago, then started to recover yesterday. Never did get any click dump. Today seems to be back to usual (fingers crossed).
Traditionally, I expect earnings to start tapering off (or flatlining) as we approach Thanksgiving and then Christmas.
