does anybody see their adsense earnings appear to be reporting slow today? the impressions are pretty much where they should be for this time of day, but the earnings seem too low. anybody else seeing this?

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear...for the first time in 2010 I have a month whereby I am now behind 2009 earnings yet until last weekend I was ~10% ahead...it's the fault of all those lunatics camping in queues for Black Friday without their wi-fi access:-)

I was hoping it was related to the holiday week, but I'm starting to think it is not going to recover from whatever changed.

Two days later and everything looks like a normal weekend again. Maybe it was just a cooincidence that I saw what I thought was a normal holiday drop, while others saw some other tweak.

In my case I think it was holiday related. Saturday is turning out as great as Friday's. High CTR and EPC.

Yeah today is looking a lot better, back to normal almost. Phew, looks like it wasn't some terrible penalty afflicting my account.

Horrible, horrible day. The worst in months. It's the holidays. Hopefully it'll pick up in the new year.

Still very bad for me. Trouble for me is this has come in the week after I switched a large site over.

The drop happened on Thursday so I am just hoping it is a holiday blip.

same here. Horrible stats started Thursday and has not improved one bit. Traffic is better but eCPM is almost 45% lower compared to last week.

Sunday appears that is going to be a killer day for me. EPC has increased tremendously since Friday. I read U.S. paid search spend from retailers has increased nearly 37 percent this season.

@ endomorph1 - I'm in the same boat as you are. This really sucks but the good part is tomorrow is a Monday and I'm pretty confident that things will improve.

@ cien - congrats on your high earnings. Keep us posted if possible if things change.

My earnings have also took a major hit that started this Wednesday. I was going to have a record month, but ill be lucky to hit my average now.

Page impressions started coming back on Saturday but well below normal.

I did find something interesting Yesterday though at least for my niche. I noticed a lot of my ads that normally are on my pages pulled out this week and my site is showing less relevent ads resulting in low ctr. Hopefully it will be back to normal by Monday or Tuesday. Maybe my advertisers hit their spending limit this month?

I did find a way to compensate last night. I added a link unit block on some of my higher paying and higher traffic pages. This helped my ctr today greatly. I never thought that the link units would perform so well as I always done well with ad units. At least now something relevent comes up in the link units, unlike the ad units right now.

Now I cant wait till next week to see how my earnings are affected with this new link unit on a normal day.

One more thing..I noticed the link units dont seem to being paying as well as the ad units, but its still early yet so ill wait and see.

since i was the one who started this post over three weeks ago, i thought i would post here about a new problem i am seeing since yesterday. the adsense impressions for my home page are reporting at over 90,000 per day since yesterday. but according to all my stats (including GA) my page views are only about 800 per day for that page. as a result my eCPM has completely tanked from about $14.00 to $0.13. does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? it's only that one page....

Well I've had my AdSense day totally smashed by a cock-up at Nominet suspending a domain name I use for my name servers because they updated whois information, deleted my details and 100+ sites zapped, gone...HP is not a HappyHusky today even though the weather here is snow, snow, snow:-)

Well I have to say I'm back on track now, but, my newsletter went out last night so I'm not sure how much of it is that.

@HP - That sucks, I hope you played hell with them !

I certainly made my feelings well known:-)

But it's very surprising what a$$covering happens. The first person I spoke to admitted immediately what had happened and apologised etc, flicked the switch and I was back on. She advised me to log-in straight away and update all my details...errr...put them back to what they were.

When I did that I saw some domains missing for that account and rang back, the second person had total denial of anything having been changed/updated/etc!

Ok it's the first time anything like this has happened to me in 16+ years however it's such an occasion that makes me wonder what I could do to prevent it happening again?

Which forum board here would that be under - Webmaster General?

Well today is the worst yet for me. 1600+ adsense page impressions and only 2 clicks. My eCPM dropped to .30 and I have yet to reach it...another depressing day.

Not a bad Monday for me at all... despite (or perhaps because of) the weather here in the UK.

Hope all your fortunes smile upon you too.

Actually, I kind of needed a pick-me-up. I've lost my Android phone and I'm basically completely gutted. I needed cheering up and today's stats were just the tonic.

m0thman, sorry about the android phone bro. Still, if you could afford it in the first place, can't be such a miserable life ;)

Mmmm, something wrong still

Adsense = 800 Imp
Android Adsense Widget = 156 Imp
Droidsense = 10 Imp

Earnings (on all) = 0

Maybe someone from Googleplex would like to come over here and put our minds at rest ?

Not a bad Monday for me at all... despite

...all my sites being offline for 4~6 hours thanks to Nominet, in fact an above average day and EPC...what could I have earned if it were not for their blunder?

Things were better on Monday, but still on the low side. I hope for better in December and especially in January, when things seem to pick up.

So far today is abysmal with both CTR and EPC running at 50% of average...do I assume the hamsters are frozen or not been able to get back to work yet?

Earnings in November have been better than October 2010, even though there were quite a few low earning days in between. It's funny how the months' with 30 days have been better than those of 31 days. Anyone else notice this?

On a serious note, has anyone taken the plunge to create the 'Reporting Lag December 2010' thread?
