Is there a new or improved feature you would like to see in AdSense?
Thanks for listening to us, ASA. It's always good to know that companies actively listen to their partners/vendors.
I, for starters, would like to see a bigger, better filter, along with an improved preview tool for the ads. I think 200 slots are not sufficient to block those advertisers who we think to be unsuitable for our sites. Apparently our understanding of "quality" is different from Google's understanding, and we would like to block those advertisers who WE feel are unsuitable.
Since our filter is always chronically full, mostly due to certain advertiser tactics (mainly the rotational or inflational use of domains), we just need a bigger filter.
If we think further into this direction, we'd like to see also an improved filter, e.g.:
- blocking by advertiser (not by domain)
- blocking by TLD (e.g. block all .info TLDs)
- blocking by target IP address or -range (e.g. block all 192.168.2.X)
- blocking by keyword in ad copy (e.g. block all 'free')
- blocking by keyword in URL (e.g. block all 'www-')
- blocking by minimum bid (e.g. do not show if EPC is below $0.05)
Thanks for your consideration.
Update your AdSense and AdWords login to a Google Account
I absolutely don't want my AdSense to be on the same account as my blog and other more casual items I use in my Google Account. To me there is a huge difference between a business and the other Google Account items.
I am also really worried we will eventually be forced to put everything in one Google account. I guess then I will have to get rid of all the other things I enjoy using and just keep AdSense.
By the way, the updates stopped showing for me. Maybe the part-time intern who wrote them is now working on something else? Then again, please do not start sending more of these messages - they never contained any meaningful feedback for me.
Also would be nice if you can get the PhDs working on world peace , unlimited food and cheap energy before it's too late.
1a) Permit editing the configuration section of the Adsense code block (at least channels).
2) Offer a minimum click revenue filter which switches to alternate ads, blank space or PSAs as configured, if the ads chosen for the impression would pay less than the configured minimum when clicked.
The world of engineering is a lot like Dilbert; you make changes which cause more complaints and confusion which just causes more work and frustration. I can't see Googleneers rushing to institute every suggestion that's thrown their way.
can anyone tell me a time where Adsense opinions from this board were put into play
Yes, I'm happy to report that 2 of my requests came through, the AdSense referral signup period expanding and the availability of channels for Referral products, many others down here will attest to having their wishes fulfilled, when it makes sense they do it, when they don't it's probably due to reasons they cannot reveal publicly.
Could anything be done about the message we get when we log on?Update your AdSense and AdWords login to a Google Account

Mine ARE the same and I still get that annoying message.
So all I would like is for G to fix this.

That's something I would like to get back. A report of the terms used when visitors are using the Adsense search box on our websites. This allows me, as a publisher, to see if there is a pattern among my users - if they are looking for information that I do not offer.
And if you are serious, just start with the stupid filter that is limited to 200 spammers. Just make it unlimited and we will all shut up.
One of the things we gave up when we deployed Adsense for Search was the ability to monitor what others were searching for when on our websites.
You can track that with Google Analytics now. I know how important those stats are, believe me. Pure gold.
As for my wishes:
1- Better control over the colors of the adlinks landing page, the ad's colors doesn't always translate to a good theme for a whole page; and please make that Google logo on top blend with the colors! The horror!
2- Make sure referrals only show what you selected, at all times, when we set it up that way. Not sure why it's so complicated.
3- Block by advertisers instead of domain name, indeed. When you spot a crook, you want nothing to do with all his sites. Speaking of which, I hope you guys are using data from all the publishers competitive filters to spot to most egregious cases. That's what I would do and I'm not even that smart.
4- It seems to latest google search iframe set up when you show results on your pages have a minimum width of 800px for the iframe. That's a little large isn't when you have a 800*600 site layout? Something like minimum 640px would make more sense, or close to what was available some time ago with the older code.
5- Last but I don't get my hopes up: control over minimum EPC per sites. I'd rather use alternate ads than give my valuable traffic to 1 cent per click low ballers. Yes I know they may make it up with high CTR. Still, the decision should ideally be for the publishers to make.

If so, then you've already updated your login to a Google Account.
Return to AdSense and use your Google Account to sign in.
Of course when I return to adsense login I get the same message again and again.........
Ad Review Centre:
Let us know the size of the adverts. Some are hard to tell, and I do not use all that are targeted.
Let us know which site they are targeting. Hard to tell atm if you have two sites that are similar, but different. Some adverts will fit into both, and some only into one. Presently I cannot tell which they are targeting.
General:
--More channels [or let us have more than one account]
--More filters [or let us have more than one account]
--Quicker repsonse/action in removing MFA once reported.
--The ability to block via pub-id [this should allow us to block such sites that have muliple TLD's - like that big auction house for example]
--Fix the bugs in the "improved" google search. The logo does not centre and if you then flip between "site" and "web" a large white box appears with google in it. This never happened in the "classic" version and looks awful when it happens. I have reverted back to the classic version.
1) Make opting out of CPM ads an option in the control panel. I do not understand why publishers have to send an email to de-activate CPM ads.
2) Fix the CPM program payouts. How can it be that there is $0.00 as payout when there are, for example, 100 impressions registered? An eCPM value of $0.00 is unacceptable - whether this is due to bottom feeder, or due to a bug, I don't care.
...many others down here will attest to having their wishes fulfilled...
I'd be interested in reading those testimonials to see if there are any trends in what types of requests are honored.
Anyone mind chiming in with what request you made in one of these wish lists and saw it implemented as a result of your request? For the sake of conversation, let's assume the implemention was a result of your request and not a coincidence.
