Hehe, check out the what's new section of adsense, it mentions it, but doesn't give any real reason. Most of my ads have them now though. ^^;

I saw it on another site, and I was wondering if it was a ripoff. After seeing it on my site and other (much more popular) sites, I realized that it's apparently Google. It certainly does attract attention. :)

what could make sense would be to display the latest headline from google news, but that should be optional.
