AdSense report not sorting properly

On my "Overview" screen, when I click on "Top Channels" it is not sorting by "Earnings" as usual. I can't detect a sort field by the data presented, it seems either to be unsorted or sorted by channel-id or some other hidden field.

Anyone else seeing this?

It was always sorted by "Earnings". Now it looks like a mess with the 20+ channels I have.

No, it is by ID:
Take a look at the link for each channel in your report page.

Talking about reporting problems - has anyone tried the new reports by "AdSense units"?

The results between the normal overview report (click "top channels) and the "AdSense units" are very different, although I use the same channels for both.

PS: To get your "AdSense units" report, go Reports -> Advanced Reports, then select "Show AdSense unit data", click Select "All" and "Group by AdSense unit" then click on the "Show Report" button...

i think it's in Alphabetical order

It is in order of when the channel was created. Earliest to latest. That would match with the "channel #" theory.

I noticed today that my YESTERDAY earning is not sorted from highest earning to lowest!

I was wondering if mine was screwed up! When I look at my channels, there is no discernable or logical sorting that I can see; they seem totally random. This JUST started yesterday and before was ALWAYS the same order. Weird! I am glad everyone else is seeing it.

Hope this is just temporary.
To view results sorted "properly" I must select:

view all AdSense for Content channels

then click "earnings" so it will sort that way...

I agree, what the hell would make them do that? Ummmm, hello? It was perfect before now I have to get out my Enigma machine to decode it all instead of just glancing...I hope they do put it back the way it was.

No wonder everything goes to pot when they introduce new features! There must be nobody (competent) performing Software Quality Assurance function for AdSense.

Yeah, I have wondered about this whenever there are apparently problems caused by them (e.g. whenever introducing new features). It is simply embarrassing for a company worth 200 Billion US Dollars to have no (competent) quality control.

Standard disclaimer: Of course, I do not want to turn this thread into a "Google noise" thread. In fact, Google can not do wrong, I love what Google does to mankind, and I thank Google for letting me make them money. And I know that I can leave Adsense at any time for any reason. ;-)

Almost every maintenance is done on a Saturday.
Obviously they just don't rate this mess as urgent enough to be worth doing on a weekend.
