AdSense report not sorting properly

On my "Overview" screen, when I click on "Top Channels" it is not sorting by "Earnings" as usual. I can't detect a sort field by the data presented, it seems either to be unsorted or sorted by channel-id or some other hidden field.

Anyone else seeing this?

Mine is busted too.

The 'top channels' overview was probably the most important report for me in terms of daily use. Sigh...

Why isn't this fixed yet?

Looks like they don't know what screwed up the report.
If it was a simple roll back it would have been done already.
They released too many features in a short period, and now have to debug a whole lot of code to fix this mess.

Again, I don't think AdSense in 2007 is being run by the same people that did in 2006. Perhaps what we need is not a code but a QC & development team roll back.

The story of 2007.

What's the rush? YPN breathing down their neck?

Google Adsense management is incompetent. It's a leadership problem. Fake deadlines, awful pre-launch testing, weak/no contingency plans. They don't know how to run an IT business.

Dear Google,
You are neither short of money or staff, but very lacking in communication, tell us it will take one more week, it won't be fixed, or your staff are busy working on more critical issues.. Communicate and make it part of your quality control.

3 weeks and counting.

Yes, please, Google!

My problem is that I was half-way through converting my ads to the new format as per your suggestion - and I am now without proper reports :o

This is not really acceptable as AdSense is a business to me - So I am now converting my ads back to the old format ...

Hi everyone,
We're not sure what caused this channels reporting change but I've already escalated to our technical specialists for review. I'll let you know as soon as I hear anything from them.

Sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks for your patience.

I've received word that this top channels glitch will be fixed within the coming weeks. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Also, drall or anyone else who's having issues with the ad management feature or their reporting, please feel free to send me a sticky with more details and we'll be happy to look into it.

Thanks for your patience,
-ASA

ASA... any updates as it has been almost a month and the last maintenance cycle did not seem to fix this issue?

Yo folks,

to Google, it's just an inconvenience.

Sorry for the inconvenience

Yep. An incovenience that requires a bit more patience. Nothing more, nothing less. Probably not worth to be fixed anytime soon. And hey, it's just some sorting. It's not like clicks are missing. I guess.

(But I am probably just seeing it relaxed, because I am not affected.)

Woohoo! It is FIXED! I'm just glad they actually did take the time to do it. It was an inconvenience for awhile, but I've never been gladder to see a "trivial" feature back in place. :-)

Yes! Thanks Google. It was a trivial feature, but definitely a pleasant surprise to see it fixed and sorted accordingly.

Fixed, nice, but the interface could be improved. If they're going to fiddle with it, the opening page should show two options: 1) short list of top performers, and 2) the full list for the entire day. More intuitive, one click instead of two.

Also, it could expand from one page instead of loading another page for both short list and full list. Like Google Analytics. Or a dashboard. Or custom settings. Give me all the stats I want on opening.

A little imagination. The interface hasn't been improved at all since I started.

Looking at stats is so boring; it'd be nice to make it stronger.

I got one interesting report, when i click top channels

AdSense for Content top channels 31 2 6.45% $11.63 $0.36
example. com/ my_page/ mypage. html 0 1 0.00% $0.00 $0.24
example. com/ mypage1. html 1 1 100.00% $115.60 $0.12
