I would like to run a banner or display ad on your sites in January. I will pay each of you $5 for the month for full run of site and I'll pay you May 1st.
Isn't that a great deal... for me?

For those who think dealing with G is wonderful and that G actually gives a rat's behind about your little sites:

I didn't say that Google is wonderful or cares about me. I don't even care if they like me or my site, of if their CEO is the devil incarnate. It has no bearing on the fact that pay their bills on time. As anybody who has dealt with trying to get businesses to pay their bills should be able to tell you, Google beats the majority, hands-down.

I know that we have been waiting for this monies and it could be quite a bit for alot of us, but in the future I would suggest for those people that were expecting this earlier than what they have done.. to budget accordingly when it comes to Adsense payments and take into consideration there payment schedule and timeline -- no matter if they have paid us on earlier occasions before.
Hope you's all have a good new year & I wish you all the success in 2007! Bring it.

Google says my EFT was done yesterday (27th). That is news to my bank who shows nothing (28th)! Guess it will show up eventually. Maybe I should ask Google for their credit references! :-)
Why do you see this as Google's fault rather than your Bank's fault.
Please can someone explain to me why it is that so many people who chose to do business with Google and who, no doubt, mostly profit from the business, expect Google to behave like a charity.
Yes, people would like to be paid even earlier, but why should Google do this when they are already paying earlier that they say to expect payment? If Google had paid earlier this year, then wouldn't people just want it even earlier next year.
There are delays in submitting electronic payments and these appearing in peoples bank accounts - these delays are exacerbated over the holiday period, and not necessary due to Google.
IMHO Google are being entirely fair and reasonable. Google are far better at paying reliability and consistently than many other businesses at this time of the year.
My bank does provide me with an option to pay through CHAPS with a guaranteed date for payment into the payee's account. They charge £15 (~$30) per payment for this service.
With today's technology, it may be hard to explain why Electronic Funds Transfer cannot be closer to instantaneous, but the fact remains that it isn't.
EDIT:
I got the money shortly after posting this, as if the google gods were watching. I'm still displeased and I'm never going to trust google payments again. I have other means of income, but it's still nice to actually trust additional income, which I won't again. I hope those of you relying on google as primary income start diversifying, if you haven't already learned the lesson.

At the very least they could screw people on a regular basis so they expect to have random payments. It’s generally not a good business practice to pay someone on time for years and then screw them over as a christmas present.
