In fact, I haven't had any mail since Tuesday. I bet my mailman is loading porn on my memory stick right now while he listens to Bonnie Biguns on her webcam feed - with my headphones. Maybe his dog is laying on my doggie mat.
Oh well, I see "PIP" in my AdSense account though, which should be enough to fuel my new years eve bender... if I drink real slow...

P.S. Happy freakin' holidays everyone. *grin*

I was IM'ing with my friend in Iowa and described everything to her as she explained to me what it was all for. It was for a laptop.
Then another friend came into the room and overheard the conversation. He picked up the box and said, "Look... it says 1 of 2 packages."
I was ready to hit him when I found out he was joking... hey, I was looking for the laptop package to arrive! ;-)
My dad loves gadgets and he'll know what to do with it all. Didn't know what to give him for Christmas, but this will go over great. He's a fan of my Google enterprise anyway, so it fits.
Fun present!
BTW -- My average monthly AdSense earnings are between $1500 and $3500. I only spend $200 - $500 per month on AdWords.
We have been with the program from the beginning July 2003 and never a problem and consider our adsense income to be good and I am sure is significantly more than average.
I know it's somewhat childish but do feel kind of insulted since so many newer publishers and small publishers got one and some here even report getting the same gift twice.
Of course, don't really care about the gift value but do wonder about their reasoning behind the decision to not send it to some of us. Does it mean they do not really value all of us as publishers?
What criteria did they use in who gets it and who does not? IMO you either give to everyone in good standing, or to no one.
I figure Google Santa put me on the naughty list.
I had several adwords listings pulled.
Spent less on adwords than last year.
Criticised Google in my blog and at others.
But it still hurts. I'm crying inside. I don't believe anymore in Google Santa, Virginia ...
Wait - Virginia is home to AOL! Now I'm getting it. AOL Grinch has stolen our gifts so they can wrap 'em up with CDs.
Google gift: Bah, humbug!
Hey, Google had a rough year. The IPO only made them billions of extra dollars for the company to spend, many only spend a measly $10,000 annually with Adwords, and they only keep 60-80% of our click money from Adsense.
After all that you expect a $12.95 gift!
You selfish bastards!

I couldn't agree with you more trader. Although I did not expect any gift from google, reading posts by other members evoked exactly the same feelings in me. I am also a reasonably well performing publisher and small time adwords advertiser and could not find any reason why google ruled me out from recieving any gift. Suddenly my relationship of trust with google has started looking like that of a master and slave. I understand that google has a relationship with several thousand publishers and individual publishers do not matter much to it, but from publisher's point of view, showing selectivity is almost equivalent to discrimination, which I desist and feel insulted about.

I agree with all of that. They should've sent identical items to all, or have sent nothing. I too am insulted and my feelings are really, really seriously hurt.
