I wonder how long before these hit eBay? I can see it now "Very rare, only 200 made for google VIP's only"

I just did a search and nothing as of yet.

It's enough to make you think of buying links to get traffic to qualify for goodies!

I know what happened!

Google sent out 1 and is waiting to see who posts so they can narrow down the webmasterworld user... :)

Elsewhen...you've been hit!

(Nice consolation prize though :)

Energy prices are so high that lots of people wish they were getting a lump of coal for Christmas.

HOW MUCH ARE YOU EARNING THROUGH ADSENSE TO GET GOOGLE GIFTS?

I am also an AdWords publisher with about $20-$25 per day spent, beside an AdSense publisher since last two years averaging $3000 to $4500 per month from a single site.

I am from India.

Till today Google Never sent me any gift. Waiting for one...eagerly.

Although the AdSense A/c. is a real gift to me....

Thank You Google for changing my life.

So far I have earned so much money, that I never dream earlier in my college life. I am considering retiring from work in next one or two years, and wish to spent rest of my life with my family. I am just 31.

God Knows....I can only hope.

i only participate in wholly legitimate projects, so i have nothing to hide from google.

HOW MUCH ARE YOU EARNING THROUGH ADSENSE TO GET GOOGLE GIFTS?

sorry, i won't divulge this in a public forum.

i noticed that someone in the adwords forum seemed to receive the same thing, so maybe it was for adwords... but as i mentioned earlier, by the looks of the delivery address, it appears that this was for adsense.

@moTi

It's not an amount that determines gifts.

Don't you think there's an algo involved here.

For example. IncrediBILL won't get a gift because his WW postcount grew too fast ;)

Last year it was over 1000$ a month. It certainly won't be lower this year.

They send them out randomly and then lurk at WebmasterWorld and other forums and laugh while we try to figure out the basis for them....

just got mine too, but I also live within a few minutes drive from Google, lol.

I spend over $100 a day on adwords but dont make much on adsense.. under $10 a day. so it might be from the adwords sinde in my case.

happy holidays

This year i spent close to $500K and now 70% of my keywords are set to Inactive because of the lame Quality Score landing pages algo even though they are quite relevant to the searches. Thank god I wasn't on vacation when it happened.

If the DHL guy comes I'm gonna say return to sender! Google already threw me a lump of coal right on my forehead!

Google really outdid themselves this year. Great package of stuff to compliment a laptop. First I thought it was a planner or daytimer, but when I opened the case I was quite surprised!

WTG Google!

...sorry, just kiddin' around :) I wouldn't think otherwise, you have had some valuable input.

Adwords would make sense. A thank you to those that "pay them" seems correct. Sure, by showing Adsense we participate in Google income, but their true income starts with Adwords advertisers willingness to pay.

Congratulations on the gift!

I'm back but on dial up, waiting for trees to be cut down so I can get a satellite hookup.

Maybe they randomly select address.
My adsense check was even sent to my adwords address last month.

Question: Did you get a Google Christmas card too?

Not as of today, but the mail delivery has been pretty slow lately...so who knows :)

I was going to buy a little mouse so my 21/2 year old daughter could start using my laptop, so this is a nice present for her as well :)

I'm AdSense only and got a radio last year - but it didn't arrive here in Canada until after the new year. This year has been way better, so I'm hoping something will eventually make its way here! :-)
