And on my final thoughts / reflection on this whole "throttle", "management", "just rank" idea, I am not complaining that it exists. I am stating that it exists for whatever reason or purpose, I am accepting it, and I am choosing to work with the designed system / mechanism drawn from my observation and conclusion. It's my blindman's understanding of the elephant.

And just when you "adjust" or adapt to the new system, they'll pull the rug out from under you again.
Remember who seed funded Google and their motto. Very well the padawan has learned.

This week continues with zero conversions. Went from over 1k+/ week income to 10 bucks...all with virtually the same rankings...Smothered!

I remember when the last Broad Core update that was pre-announced, overall, it didn't seem like the chatter in terms of volatility was as big as it was during other unconfirmed updates. Maybe there was more chatter RE the volatility of big medical health sites. Still quiet on our end. I see minor movement, but I don't know if it's something to attribute to this update or just everyday flux. Nothing out of the ordinary. Godspeed to everyone!

Still seeing no movement at all in the keywords I'm checking.

The June core update really hit me on the 2nd and 3rd day, so I guess something positive could still happen.... :|

I was hit by the June Core update, lost roughly 75% of my traffic. But I'm seeing some improvement since Monday, it's more prominent today. Pray it stick.

Thus far a dud. Traffic from Google is about the same, more conversions from Bing then Google despite Google sending ten times the traffic, etc. Same old crap - just another day. Maybe tomorrow will be different, but I'm not counting on it.

For the supposed greatest search engine on the planet, Google sure can't deliver sales. Amazon is rocking though and Bing/Yahoo are outperforming Google as they do most days of the week. For ecommerce, where one ranks in Google really does not matter. You'll get the same amount of conversions being in the #1 spot as you will at #50.

Hey guys,
it's good to mention the countries/market that you see any changes.
We are not all of us operating at the US.

I am in the US, with mostly US consumer market targeted. It's past midnight here. I am too overwhelmed with the crazy swings happening now. Can't sleep.

Seeing insane amounts of shifts everywhere. I saw some competitors get knocked out.

I am seeing significant changes. I am back on Google Discover, Google News. Traffic trippled, new articles are ranking on SERPs as they did before June. Old articles haven't recovered yet.

I hope this continues.

Hoping this update takes a right turn north before reaching the coast.

Since it is tropical storm season, this should be code named the "Hurricane" update.

From early reports, its outer bands have already wreaked havoc on many sites. Feels like we are now in the eye and waiting for the backside to strike.

You guys are saying that no significant changes but I am seeing many good ranking kw's to fell today.

Because of personalization, I believe static ranking was lost years ago. One person could see you in the #1 position on Google and the next person Google puts our site on page 2. Even when checking with multiple IP addresses across the USA, our #1 ranked keywords produce very little traffic because all the fluff above the fold. Google puts so much garbage at the top of the page, visitors get distracted and leave or click on something other than organic results. It's no wonder shoppers don't go to Google first to find products anymore. If anything, Google makes the matter worse by adding to the garbage pile of nonsense above the fold.

What I look at is total traffic, page views/bounce rate and conversions. Pageviews are a good indicator of traffic quality. Low pageviews ultimately means visitors have little interest. Right now we are seeing one page wonders from Google - very low pageviews and a high bounce rate. Conversions from Google are non-existent, which is expected because of the very low quality/poorly targeted traffic Google is sending. For us, Bing/Yahoo send higher quality/better matched traffic both prior to this update and to this moment. We will see how things play out later today and in the next couple of days. But I don't expect much. Even if we do well it won't equate to much since Google has polluted the SERPS with all the garbage above the fold.
