I have noticed further drops the past 24 hours also. Really hope these new changed are only temp.

My company's example.in has more than doubled its traffic yesterday and today to record levels with seemingly normal viewing patterns, no obvious IP spikes, strange.

Yes, seeing those back in one of our niches. It's bhp though...like black hat page :)

Anybody notice a recent increase in visitors but no increase in conversions?

Seeing a 5% increase in traffic the past week (with the exception of Halloween which is always down). I've done a lot of work on the site combining pages with thin content and 301's for pages that have moved to the combined pages. I was hoping for more of an increase.

@aok88, i see it too. Increase 30%, sales down by 80%. Since 3 days i see this pattern
-night till 12am: high traffic, some sales, traffic is allmost 80% at this time
-after 12am till 7pm, throtteling begins, no sales, seeing traffic surges and Long no/low traffic times

I'm once again seeing significant movement in the UK. I thought it was isolated to one site I watch but I'm now seeing this in other verticals too.

Yep, my widget industry seems to have started bouncing about again however the most annoything thing is the amount of US company results in the serps when they cannot supply.

For some searches G is rendered useless, they're not scrapers or bad results, just simply useless.

Something is moving.
In the last 2 days, I'm down 10%.

The strange/frustrating thing is that for same IP, using 3 different browsers (private/incognito mode), I see totally different results.

Speaking of crawling - last 10 days all I can see is up and down motion in the crawling of my website at the same pace no less than 300 pages on the low day and on the next no more than 700.

And some of my more broad SERPS are down as well.
On the flipside I see more than 50% more conversions year over year, so I do not know what Google is doing this past week but I am a happy bunny so far.

we've seen a consistent rise in traffic over the last few weeks which is actually pretty significant since this is normally the time of year we really start to slow down.

More importantly, conversion rate is up, traffic seems to be getting more qualified.

If all your new traffic is coming from bing then I would say no.

If Google is sending you traffic then I guess it just may be a Google thing, my only concern is are you a real person or a spam bot posting to boards?

It seems friday is becoming the new Panda-updating-day or something. I see movement again - for the better. Not only my site, but the SERPs in general seem a little better and cleaner today.

What purpose would a spam bot posting serve? My profile isn't linked to a URL and clearly shows a posting history that would indicate I'm not a bot.

But yes, I've had a traffic increase from Google since around Nov 1. I can't see any obvious changes in SERPs that would account for this, so I wondered if there was another algorithm change. I seem to be one of the lucky few who does well with every update. It may just be seasonal traffic for my niche.

It definitely seems that way. Panda really feels like a weekly update now, and the last 3-4 weeks it's been happening on Friday-Sat (depending on your location).

Hmmm, Friday had my lowest AdSense PVs in a couple of weeks but an above average earnings' day. Today's PVs are looking even lower.

What I have noticed is that my company.eu site has taken a hammering this week with PVs and uniques well down on average and at odds with my other sites.

Has G given a different weighting to .eu sites? Anyone else seen similar?

Noticed a rise in rankings today for some keywords that dropped in the last Panda update. Not that I've seen much of an improvement in traffic overall. Quite puzzling.
