Actually I'm mystified why one of our PR6 site's internal pages no longer have any PR showing for the last few months , and why other sites we have with similar structures and PR are fine [but not indexing or appearing in the SERPS!]
Unless we did something wrong, I'll be watching closely to see if it updates, since it has good links into it.
Are showing new PR for me at the moment.
Google is so confusing and in such a mess at the moment it is hard to tell
Tedster mentioned a conv. he had with Matt Cutts whereby MC said that there was a different way of calculating PR with Big Daddy but Tedsters understanding was that this may be temporary and be reverted back to the old calculation.
Not sure if there is a rollback going on at the same time.
Looking at MC blog you can see his recent vacating post now has a PR6 (fair enough linked from his homepage) - so that proves a update is in process and PR is being allocated to new pages.
www.mattcutts.com/blog/great-colleagues/ - was a PR0 before the dodgy March/April update when it became a 5 and has now gone down to a PR3 (So an update seems to be happening for some existing pages)
However, some sites pages seem to be showing the February toolbar figure and some pages which got PR in the March/April update seem to show the figure of the February update again - so is this a correction of PR for these sites (ie the old calculation MC/Tedster talked about) or a rollback.
>>I think the answer is that it disappeared... for now. I'd say tonight...
Yep, the PR update has gone for now.
Probably/maybe roll out overnight...
