has anyone noticed when on Big Daddy DC you do a site: command on your site it brings back a number.

Ok now refresh countless times and you will notice it flips to another number.

My site is currently switching between 850 pages and 420,000!

Any ideas anyone?

The [sf giants] query is a good clue that you might be looking at BD results, but it is not a 100% certain test.

Wondering if anyone had a similar experience: From about Feb 2 - Feb 10th (approx) I received a large amount of traffic from a BigDaddy datacenter IP. Much more (4X) than from normal google.

This trend seems to have gone back to the way it was, since Feb 10th.

I also had a burst of traffic around feb 3rd which made me very happy for a couple days but it went back to normal sinse.

Yep, same here, my new (6 month old) site suddenly appeared in the SERPS for those few days then dropped out again.

I have been in MSN and Yahoo for awhile now, but it was nice to see referal traffic from search.google in the stats for the first time.

I have just checked at McDar and the site is starting to appear again at a couple of IP's.

Certainly seems like they applied something, then rolled it back and are just starting to apply it again.

As you know though, everyting in the universe always happens in 3's, so this attempt is bound to be rolled back as well. It'll be the third go that will stick :)

has anyone noted prior to this that another test for BD might be the inability to link to Froogle?

I've tried several times on sites I KNEW had to be BD and each time, the link to Froogle was broken.

... well, scratch that last post on Froogle.. something's changed and the BD can now play with his Froogle..

I'm back on my Froogle kick. BD just can't see Froogle.

What is there to say that has not been said over and over again? Cutts says middle of March for Big Daddy to be in place. Everyone predicts something different than Cutts says. Everything is in a state of flux. Sites are up and down. Things go on and off.

It is a matter of paying attention to business and letting Google do its thing.

BD results are way out in terms of page freshness.

I for one continue to lose pages in BD - now down to 355. In non-BD I show over 1,100. Googlebot has spidered nearly 3,000 pages, so I continue to think BD has a big churn ahead.

I'm back on my kick about BD and Froogle.

Almost every time I find a site (eg via mcdar) that I'm sure is BD, the Froogle link is broken.

Why would this be? Is it possible that with the BD transition that AdWords is also being adversely affected?

I believe you will find on BD that images doesn't work either. At least last time I checked

What is going to look like after all? From Big Daddy DC get significantly low pages, about 900 indexed pages and got 100,000 from old one.
