I guess I must change my bad habit of checking DCs before going to bed :-)

And I just wonder why those youngsters at Googleplex keep tinkering with the DCs. Don't they have better things to do?

Look what they have done to the following DCs:

And as usual, please check your keywords /key phrases and see whether you still exist on Google Planet.

PS. However the above DCs are still what I consider "affiliate programs friendly".

Don't forget that all IP addresses that start with the same three numbers are all from the same datacentre.

The results look good overall.

I do however find these days that its almost like google is tweaking the algo back and forth every week or so to ensure tht no one site will rank in all data centres for all its keywords at any one time - hence the increase in adwords sales.

I notice some clients sites fall back in the serps a little, then rise meanwhile other clients sites do the reverse.

Bottom line is its everflux and imo its designed to increase adwords sales and it works for them - earnings up last quarter. Whilst earnings rise they will keep tweaking.

Like you i did prefer the good old days when we had firm stability in the google serps but those days have long gone now - since the new infastructure was rolled out we have been in everflux and data watching will just end up frustrating you

My site which usually gets thrown out the window by Google with every update or refresh is holding steady at the same position across all DCs I can check. 40 days without getting kicked now.

So affiliate friendly DCs or not, I see nothing.

I wouldn't be surprised if I get thrown at all of a sudden with no warning when the next refresh/ push happens either. Just no indication of anything big coming my way on any of the DCs.

The searches I checked using the data centers you listed are still the same as I saw on the 5th. Rankings had changed overnight on the 4th.

Could you explain what you mean by affiliate friendly?

It's growing pretty slow in the sectors I monitor also. Probably just flux. I don't think we'll see any major changes to the grass until early spring.

I just noticed that few of my sites are back to July/August TBPR level. But not all pages are back to old levels. So cant say if its a rollback. maybe minor update.

No offense reseller, but wouldn't you provide more value to this board by telling us what you see rather than simply asking people to check their keywords and report back?

I have different pages/sites in different sectors that I keep an eye on and watch their positions movements (or lack of the same) on the DCs.

When I see significant movements of the pages/sites I watch on specific DCs, I report that and mostly mention the sector which those pages/sites belong to in addition to the IPs of the DCs. Just like in the current case when I mentioned affiliate programs marketing related.

However, we should keep in mind that sometimes only specific sectors would be affected on the DCs.

And my answer is YES! The results have spread to almost all the DCs!

And they look GREAT as far as affiliate program marketing related pages (not thin affiliates though) which I watch...

Ditto. A lot more traffic but my site is the only one that moved. It's as if Google suddenly likes my site a lot more than it did a few days or years ago. Not just one keyword has improved in rank. Many keywords have shot up and are just about whee I would like them to stay. Now lets see how long the fun lasts.

Well, after further review several sites are seeing this increase. One is related to money management, one is related to food, one is about the demarcation problem and another is about consumer electronics. No clear theme there.

Some go up some go down and I'm the one losing traffic. Did anyone notice that there wasn't a data refresh last Saturday despite it being 3 weeks since the last one? But I've seen several of my sites drop daily since then so for me it looks like the filters have been tightened and the "refresh" is taking place in smaller steps to avoid negative publicity of Google doing a holiday season update again. Just a theory but I am struggling right now after 5 good € weeks : (

At this moment, I see filters deployed on some DCs. For example:

Try search both with and without filter=0 to see the difference.

And here is an example of DCs with no filters, yet:

64.233.167.104

Of course things might change any moment ;-)

I don't watch DC's but I see the signs of another "data push" starting about 10:30 PM EST, or 7:30 if you're here in Vegas. (Just wanted to be the first to call it.)

Yup Reseller, my site too showing on 30th position for my main keyword which was lost long back in SERPs on the following DC's
